 at the NBA talk

We need to chill, before this thread gets locked. Or at least go back to posting pictures of beautiful women again.

Love should go to the warriors. fill that david lee spot. He'd be a beast again on their squad because he can pass and hit the 3 ball. And beating lebron is something all of his ex teammates should strive for.

But the Warriors don't need another shooter, what they need is a big man who is down to put a body on somebody and be stingy w/ the rebounds. If he could block shots too that'd be great. Love wouldn't provide that for the Warriors. I'd say they'd actually benefit from a dude like Dwight Howard if he wouldn't be complaining about setting screens for a pick-n-role.

Bismack?

OH MY GOD. PLEASE WATCH THIS YALL:

"how lebron was in the locker room after game 2"

what Dubs need is either another mobile big or a bona fide slasher to make opponents pay for when they spread their d out

They get either one and I don't see OKC taking them to 7 again

Mobile Big? Isn't that Ezeli?

Slasher? Isn't that supposed to be Iggy and Barnes?

The Warriors do not need anything else. They're fine the way they are. Maybe they could upgrade in Center and get someone who can bang, rebound and get easy points in the post if needed. Basically a more offensive Bogut

Rim protection rebounding starter maybe PnR big but they run mostly motion offense..need a upgrade over varejo and bogut even though bogut steps up from time to time..Azeli is a keeper for off bench work..that's just saying if gsw wants to keep upgrading each year...Barnes is gone but has hurt his stock in playoffs

Why is people mad at the dubs that they celebrate? But yet ya don't see anything wrong with Bron celebrating prior to winning a championship, talking about how real games are going to be easy because their core group, dancing and holding team mates back when they blowing games open. Everyone celebrate .... the only difference is the DUBS do between themselves ... they aren't going the off season to meet up with other superstars and hanging out like they boys ... they ******* rivals man ....

Ya talk about the Warrior ruin BB, but **** was ruin way before that because of James. Who the **** the finals and go the off season to practice with the person you beat/lost?

There's no rivalry, MOFOS kissing each other prior and after games .... F that ... only a handful full of teams still out there legit.

The Cavs supporting cast is not championship material, but LeBron definitely deserves the blame for that for the way he constructed this team:

1. Trading Wiggins for Love. I can see why they did that - they were in "win now" mode and you knew what you were getting in Love whereas Wiggins was a gamble that could eventually either end up as the next Tracy McGrady but also the next Darius Miles. However Love was in the league for plenty of years for him to see that he's an absolute trash defensive liability. Should've taken some other decent offensive player who can play D.

2. Giving Tristan a near max contract and ruining the team's salary cap. Seriously, this is just laughable. Dude does one thing well - offensive rebounding. That's it. An average defensive rebounder, okay defender but not much more than that. The only offense he provides are offensive rebound putbacks and every now and then alley oops. Plus he's a hack-a free throw shooting liability. He referred to himself like he was the second coming of Dennis Rodman, the Canada version, but he is to Dennis Rodman what Canada is to USA as a world power.

3. Overpaying Shumpert. He was supposed to be the 3-and-D player that Battier was on those Heat championship teams, but this dude is trash who is now laughing all the way to the bank. Neither his 3 is good and his defense is overrated as well.

4. The whole David Blatt mess. David Blatt was signed as a coach before LeBron came back to the Cavs. He should've let the Cavs know about his intentions to come back before they signed Blatt so they could sign a legit experienced NBA coach and go after the championship right away instead of an experimental coach that David Blatt was.

Welp...

I have to be the only poster that thinks Shump is good on defense. Or at least was good on defense in recent memory. He did a good job on Isaiah Thomas, Rose, Korver, and Klay last year.

Way too much attention is being focused on lebron and the cavs and not the warriors flat out greatness.

Stop listening to sportswriters who's jobs it is to romanticize basketball in a way that makes it easy for the casuals. Y'all better than that. "Lebron has overcame his demons in the warriors" or "this is the worst supporting cast lebron has had" all that bs is for the casuals. Basketball is a team game.

And the fact of the matter is, the warriors as a team are one of, if not the greatest teams ever assembled. This would have been the fate of any team (including the cavs obviously) who would have played the warriors in the finals. People wont realize what a juggernaut we're dealing with until we're sitting on NT a year from now debating about where they rank after winning their 3rd straight title. (Barring injury or some huge roster shakeup out west)

Unless you have a team full of kd's and Kawhi's, which is not economically possible, you arent beating gsw 4 out of 7. It is what it is. As long as steph's shotmaking, finishing and gravity is at elite levels and surrounded by guys like klay draymond and eagle dollar, its impossible to defend them well enough to beat them 4 out of 7. Y'all can slander lebron, as long as y'all realize that this would be the fate of any of the other 29 teams in the league.

Said it on NT a week or so ago and i'll say it again. The team necessary to beat gsw cant be created in today's nba so as long as they stay away from injury and keep their core together, I dont see them losing. Okc came close, but you just cant equate for the type of shotmaking and 3's that they can muster at any given moment. No team in league history can match that. Even when they arent going ballistic from 3 like in this series so far, their threat and gravity is completely comprimising the cavs entire defense and would do so to any other team in the league.

So yeah, the cavs are with fatal flaws that make this a terrible matchup for them, but this is a terrible matchup for just about any team in league history. More about the warriors, less about the cavs

OKC showed the blue print. Timberwolves will dethrone them. A elite big man who can guard the perimiter stops all of that

I agree with this, but you have to have known everyone was gonna run through that man once he came in with that new wig piece. That's what he was known for as a knick
