There is obviously some kind of theme going on this year for the IX EM. All the patterns are similar with the harsh lines and hard contrast of shapes and colors. I don't know what it is but it don't make any sense.

Nothing is going to top last year's theme YOTS.

But this year is so odd. These Geometric Shapes on the USA, Brazils, Pop Art Camo now these. Nothing blends together all the graphics don't blend together just harsh lines that contrast too strongly.

Kinda distressed by how many of the EM pairs I do not like. So far only dig the black/crimson, Bruce Lee, and Philippines.

Ya know, I tried them on recently in Georgetown, and there was just a little too much purple for me. The pattern I think works, just not that CW build, for me.

I think the CW are really that bad but price has something to do with it as well.

I love the shoe, silhouette wise, just don't like most of the CW's. $20 off the price still would not get me to buy more awful CW's. I bought 4 pairs of highs - I'll pay for a good looking sneaker, just can't do it for goofy looking crap.

Took out the insoles of my HGs and put in some insoles from the Kobe 8's like someone mentioned awhile back. Much better! Wish they would've made the insoles like those from the 8's.

But the 9 inserts will last longer because they are thicker. They also have those added spots or bumps to like massage your feet

Just go half size up next time for these. The IX Insoles are way better.

Exactly. Man I miss the Ratchet Reviewer. What ever happened to him. Some good vids.

Just wear them. Eventually they will flatten a little bit (just like the 8 did)

Couldn't agree more.

The 8s barely last 3 months if you're a regular baller. IMO I had to get superhero inserts to make my 8s last.

Maybe it's just me, but every time I see pictures of the HTMs, they look less bulky than the Elite lows that are dropping. And the tongue looks smaller too.

I switched my insoles from the EMs to the FK lows. It helps a lot for the FKs and the EMs don't feel much different.
