I'm thinking on getting a pendant made that I have wanted for years but I'm not looking to drop tons of cash. Would getting it made in silver and thenmaybe dipping it in gold be a option? I know people will say save up and do it right but with three kids, a mortgage and two car notes to pay that's nevergonna happen. I was hoping to maybe add stones later but I just want the pendant done now.

the problem with rhodium over silver is that it will tarnish weird (hence the fake cz stud chains set in silver with gold rhodium) their lifespan isn'tthat long if you wear it often.
it's almost disposable.

NLV, some guy looked like you today at my shop and he had on a 9mm cuban iced out, yellow gold. I said that's nice, I said who made it? "you guys did,I got a white one too" was the a tricc question? lol. thats how out of the loop I am and into this diet and my crazy bday party. I can't thinkstraight

A bit off topic but wondering if anyone could help me.

I was just curious if anyone knew what happened to Roc Ice watches, they were quite high end watches not as high as Jacob & Co but still quite pricey.Anyway they were cool watches with a few celebs wearing them Paris Hilton and Jay Z apparently and a few large retailers selling the watches. Anyway,effectively overnight, the company vanished, emails closed, phones closed, website shutdown etc.

Apparently according to some sources the watches used fake stones as opposed to real ones as advertised, the watch below is the 10 carat and sold for about$12k and some are now saying are worthless and the whole thing was a scam, is this true? I owned a 5 carat at one point but sold it on before I got it.

Would appreciate it if anyone could give me some information regarding the watches.

these are the options:

1)keep the diamond cuban or make a bigger one and put the DG on it with a standard bail

2)get a much bigger cuban, no diamonds, and make the DG bigger somehow, maybe put a plate of diamonds behind it or something, like how zahir did a few nicecircular pieces with initials in the circle

I was looking forward to a diamond cuban for so long, but when I got to wear one in person I was kind of disapointed since im used to bigger stones and youcant fit anything but small stones in there,it looks better in the pics then wearing it, so im thinking of putting the money towards the piece insteadmaybe.... give me some ideas or suggestions with pics for examples....

or 3) diamond cuban and expand the piece (not likely, just had to pay taxes on 08 and the check I cut seriously hurt my feelings)
