LOS ANGELES (AFP) - A treasure trove of Michael Jackson memorabilia, ranging from the gates of the infamous Neverland Ranch to one of his iconic white gloves is to be auctioned, it was announced Wednesday.
Los Angeles-based auctioneers Julien's said more than 2,000 items belonging to the eccentric "King of Pop" would be put up for sale in April following a seven-day exhibition.
The auction gets underway in Beverly Hills on April 21 and wraps up four days later, with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity aimed at helping musicians in need.
Among the most sought after lots up for grabs are a white glove first seen in the video for Jackson's 1983 hit "Billie Jean."
The wrought iron gates that once adorned the entrance to the pop star's sprawling Neverland Ranch near Santa Barbara in California are also certain to arouse huge interest.
Jackson has not lived at the ranch since he was cleared of child molestation charges at his 2005 trial. Prosecutors alleged Jackson abused children at Neverland, which in its heyday feature a funfair and a zoo.
How he afford a new piece
Colony Capital, one of the largest private equity real estate investors in the world, owns office, hospitality, gaming, residential, and retail properties. Its holdings include stakes in France-based retailer Carrefour and hotel operator Accor, as well as Canada-based luxury hotel chain Fairmont Raffles. In 2007 the company backed a nearly $5 billion buyout of Station Casinos by that company's founders and management. Colony Capital is controlled by chairman and CEO Tom Barrack, a renowned dealmaker who originally formed the firm in 1991 to invest in debt from the savings and loan crisis. The company has invested approximately $40 billion in real estate-related assets since its founding.
I see how I misinterpreted the article now that I've seen what C.Captial does. I remember watching that special on him in high school when hewas in Vegas buying up art and vases with no care for what the price tag was.Originally Posted by BENBALLER

They are biting bell & ross style watches. if you want to be a boss go with the bell and ross watch. not this. The band is to small for this watch.
