Would I be right thinking that nobody pays $30-something per gram on a Jesus piece in 14 carat, if you divide the $$$ paid by the weight on the actual piece, it works out your paying a pretty hefty premium for the mold, labour and jeweler (brand) on top, of course you also have to factor in the price of diamonds coming with that crazy mark up, especially on the ones in the higher end bracket of the three C's, with little to no resale value at the end of it. So all in all with Jesus pieces and religion in general.. It seems, You have to pay to pray

If and co
Would you be able to pay around the going rate for gold in whichever purity you decided to go with per gram on the piece and then add on to the bill your diamond selection, labour etc and end up anywhere near that market value per gram figure.
Because from my calculations and the prices I've seen out there, it's way over. or am I missing something?
