The Official Anime & Manga Thread Vol: 三

I dunno if The Perfect Insider got a little less weird or it just got a different weird. Definitely a lot of philosophical dialogue. I feel like i'm back in philosophy class and trying not to zone out my professor.

Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry ended today (I think). What a surprisingly good anime with a pretty interesting protag who was not an airhead.
Hopefully there's a season 2 sometime down the road.

Sheisha revealed at the Jump Festa event in Chiba on Sunday that Katsura Hoshino's D.Gray-man manga is getting a new TV anime adaptation that will premiere in 2016. Shueisha also launched a website for the new series, which is streaming a promotional video.

The website revealed that Ayumu Murase (Haikyu!!'s Shōyō Hinata, The irregular at magic high school's Shinkurō Kichōji) will play Allen Walker and Shinnosuke Tachibana (Kamisama Kiss' Tomoe, Overlord's Peroroncino) will play Howard Link. Sanae Kobayashi had played Allen in the previous series, and Daisuke Kishio had played Howard.

The website and official Twitter account have also revealed a key visual. The tagline on the key visual reads, "I want to live. Even if I destroy you."

Hoshino originally launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2004, but the manga went on hiatus numerous times due to the author's health. The series then resumed in Jump Square magazine in 2009. The manga's latest hiatus had been ongoing since 2013, but the manga resumed in the new Jump Square Crown quarterly magazine when the magazine launched on July 17. Shueisha published the manga's 24th volume in November 2013, and the manga has more than 22.5 million copies in print.

So happy to be getting more of D.Gray-Man. I've been hoping the series gets a proper ending one day for the manga (moving really slow right now) and a continuation or even remake on the anime.

I have a weird DBZ question. Do you think that Goku and Vegeta's regular version in Resurrection F are stronger than say the first time they went SS? Like do their regular forms get stronger the more they are able to ascend to higher transformation levels?

Yes.

Looks like there is going to be another Berserk anime next year, focusing on Guts as the Black swordsman( which is everything after the first part of the manga, when Griffith killed everybody etc)

I always found that part so much more interestjng than the first part. It's more of a lone wanderer, monster hunter story

Oh absolutely. Freiza's Final Form in Resurrection is also massively stronger than it was on Namek.

Dope. Been hoping that would be adapted for a while. Might go re-read Berserk from the beginning to prepare. :smokin
