I mean I'm no material expert but the annys are much better built than iD's. Mesh, tongue, liner, everything is better. iD's always feel cheap in hand.

doubled up on a pair of bred mini swooshes. couldnt pass up the good deal. The new pair on the left and old pair on the right. I repainted the old pair’s midsole to white thinking it oxidized and changed color but now that i have a new pair on hand and it has that same off-white color, my question is - is the original midsole color an off-white?

Yes. Same thing with the other pairs from the pack.
