Because we've been losing so many for the last 4 years. You can't develop youth if you're constantly playing for the worst record in the league.
Hopefully the league gets away from only scouting last years high school seniors or following the script and start doing their research. There are guys in the league who played 4 years of college and then go undrafted only to be better players in the league than any of our 3 lottery picks.

Right there with you, some of this excess draft picks needs to be on some low floor guys with 3-4 years of college experience to even things out. Having a team full of "project" players is not the moveBecause we've been losing so many for the last 4 years. You can't develop youth if you're constantly playing for the worst record in the league.
