The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

Apparently, some fighters weighed in last night and were on weight. Scale used last night that the UFC or commission provided wasn't calibrated and was really . 5lb off (not 2 like the first tweet says).

I'm guessing Charles woke up thinking he was on weight only to be off smh.

My only issue here is that only 2 fighters missed weight? Seems like more should have been off if it was really that big an issue.

As for the 0.5lb allowance? It ain’t the 155.5lb title and that is known by all fighters challenging for any title (weight must be made flat on the title limit).

It's ******** cause the UFC makes their own rules for all this. Al was .5 over against Khabib and was still able to win the belt.

Now Charles is most likely not getting his ppv points and if he wins, won't be getting it in his next fight. All because a ****** scale at the fighter hotel the night before said he was on weight. Some ******** if you ask me.

If Oliveira was a bigger draw he wouldn't have been stripped...period...end of story.

That being said, he's missed weight multiple times in the past and he looked like hell on the scales, which means he didn't take care of himself during training like he should have. So even though this is complete bullshat, in a company built on a history of complete bullshat...it's kind of his fault as well.

Somehow this is all tied into Dana White's master plan to get Conor McGregor another title shot.

Whatever.

...UFC as a company is about as professional as an elementary school playground.

Well at the end of the day if he does what he's supposed to do tomorrow night then it's almost business as usual, he'll be in the next 155 title fight.

The real issue is just how bad was the cut. And maybe how much confidence is Gaethje is gonna be coming into the fight with now.

Didn’t even let Charlie Olives hold the towel like Cormier?

Fun fight to open. What a rally from Randy after getting knocked down in the 3rd.

Can't believe Shogun/OSP is the next fight
