Wut?

Did he come in over 155?

Are Pettis + Felder fighting?
He came in at 155.2 for his fight with Felder. They should have allowed him to weigh in again if he was an option to save the card.

Felder and Pettis train together so they’re not going to fight each other. 4 fights off the card now.

Connor needs to choose his return wisely. He saw what happened to Rousey. He’s a loss away from ruining his stigma/selling point in and out the sport. He has a lot more to lose than anyone they put in front of him

On a different note this all looks to be 100% a stunt either by the UFC or Connor gone wrong. Boxing once again takes a huge kick to the nuts in terms of credibility and the UFC/Connor wanted to capitalize. The timing of it all is incredibly suspect

difference between connor and rousey is connor built himself up and he put in the work...while the ufc built up rousey cause she was the only option
connor went out there and did the damn thing in 2 divisions of mma. dude lost go diaz and the train kept on rolling for him
connor dont need ufc as much as ufc needs him at this point ...and both parties know that

so what's tomorrow card looking like? is it still going to be a PPV event?

I would like to reiterate that Al is a part time real estate agent

I hope they continue to do the Embedded series on Youtube. Even though the story goes in all different directions, it's neat to see this all unfold through a docu series.

I agree about Connor building himself. As an athlete he’s legit but I don’t think that anyone “needs” him including the UFC. Does that mean the UFC doesn’t want him? No.

Essentially I’m saying outside the UFC Connor really has nothing going for him (as if he really needs it since the fight with Floyd set him for life but still). Rousey, as a woman athlete, has a lot she can do based on looks alone.

Ariel says he could have made 155 but weighed in "early" wasn't aware of the potential for a title fight obviously

Other than Romero winning when not eligible for the title (interim in his case) have there been any other fights where this has happened? It seems 90% of the time the guy who missed weight for a title or interim has lost.

Yall need to stop the UFC needs connor talk... its been 2 years. Hes running the sport and its never been less popular...

They dont need him. Let him be a sideshow fighter taking boxing matches. Maybe Coker will scoop him but if im Dana naw its not worth the trouble now that hes off his rookie deal so to speak. Till will electrify the UK and theyll have a new global starlett to hype

And you’ll go out of business with that mindset. WME made a 4 bilion dollar investment and now you want to throw away your biggest draw

yeah you right " they dont need him"

So did Al get that 2 milli? Haha, strangest 6 days in MMA history I'm sure.

Tony injured
Holloway not cleared
Chiesa out with injury
Borg out with injury
Moreno left without an opponent
Felder left without an opponent
Pettis left without an opponent (too bad they couldn't match him up with Felder)
4 fights cancelled
Main event altered 3-4 times (not sure you count Pettis as it was never official)
