"The Last Dance" Michael Jordan & Chicago Bulls Docuseries

No social media back then a lot of commentary went unnoticed. These were things back then that would of been tweeted right after a game in today's time... No news goes unheard of these days...

I wonder when these interviews were conducted? Krause was never well liked and damn sure won’t be now but he passed in 2017 and I would have loved for his side of all of this.

For that matter, at least through two episodes Reinsdorf looks like more of the snake than Krause. Reinsdorf is the owner and very well could have stepped in and said enough is enough but he is skating through all of this and using Krause as the scapegoat when he clearly said you sign a contract that is it.

Scottie’s legacy with the Bulls is certainly one of extreme complexities. In one hand he is the sidekick to MJ but he is also regarded as a guy, at least at the time thought of as being soft and not very strong mentally. He is very lucky MJ came back for the second run or Pip might be most remembered for his infamous refusal to go back into a playoff game against the Knicks in 94 while MJ was retired. I believe the Bulls front office looked at that situation as the reason why they felt like they could never trust Scottie as the ‘guy’ thus they would never pay him like that either.

Krause was the kid that always wanted to be included in the kool club. It was never gonna happen. He was a chump. To make the statement that Phil was done was his worst career move.

He was a very good gm. But a very crappy person who didn’t endear himself well to people. He went about a lot of things poorly and alienated people in situations where it wasn’t necessary.

What blows my mind though is that for as much as they wanted to rebuild. They likely could’ve won until 2000 or even 2001 had they kept the band together. Not saying they win every year consecutively. But as we saw in 99. The jazz started getting up there in age. San Antonio was on its way to becoming a powerhouse. The Lakers were becoming the heir to the throne, but Phil coming in was huge for them.

People on Twitter getting mad over how they labeled Clinton and especially Obama..smh..People have no sense of humor about anything anymore..

Damn ESPN really is useless without sports. About to spend a hour talking about two episodes of this doc on some lame *** Talking Dead steez.
I mean, it stands for Entertainment and SPORTS programming network.

I had prior knowledge Scottie was getting under paid, but how he handle the situation with Krause. That's new to me.

Rebuild from what? A championship? Thats whats messed up here. It was Krause agenda that caused the break up.
There was zero reason to break up something that was still winning Chips. Unless you had an agenda.

They were getting up in age and moves would’ve had to be made to keep winning titles. Roster tweaks at the role player level.

Hell Mike and Pippen were the lone holdovers from the first 3 peat to the second 3 peat. They did a good job retooling in that respect so they would’ve been capable of making the necessary moves to keep it going.

But Krause had his feelings hurt and made spiteful bitter moves off of that. There was no need to clean house and rebuild at that time when they had more runs left.
