I like a lot on that list but come on man a lot of those bands, and indie rock as a genre for that matter, are tied to pop. Girls, for example, are about as pop as you can get. The Radio Dept too. There's nothing wrong with pop.

How you got Joy Division as a current act?

btw The Killers might just be one of the most disappointing rock bands ever. So bad. "Are we human or are we dancers?"

It's actually a really good transition. As I started to listen to better music, I hated theirs more and more though.
