That album was piff. Had a handful of stinkers on it but some of the tracks were ill. I Can't Wait by U-N-I and Round N' Round by Pac Div used to bump.i noticed
heres one for the old heads

Dom is just too cool to rap. Damn near every song on the album sounds like a spoken word intro. From FTWWL2 to this project he's slowly devolved from actually rapping to the lazy flow. Can't get with it
meh don't get when people say this
not like he's spitting over boring boom bap beats . . . his music is smooth and would do well on radio as it already is . . .
Yellow Album should have been an album through a major distribution channel and it would have sold very well . . . My Type of Party did not reach it's full potential as a single, ALMOST every song on that tape could have been a single
Even on GHS, After School, Erica Part 2, Dominic, Still Callin . . . any one of those could be big records
He wouldn't have to change his sound when signing with a major . . . that wouldn't be a problem, it's those shady rape deals where they take your touring, publishing, merchandising thats prolly holding it up . . . but it's standard these days, so many artists are just letting themselves get violated nowadays so unless you're Drake, getting top ten records independently, you don't really have much bargain power, because they can just go sign the next dude for all that trouble
[QUOTE name="Cement Greyman"]Nice Supremes! I thought you didn't wear Nike anymore....

I get that alot now.
It was just a heartfelt statement. I wake up somedays and look at what Nike produces and where the legacy of Jordan (Brand) is going and It bothers me.
Just like alot of people.
and word, no lie. Dom was one of the reasons I got off Nikes and am now on Vans.
I agree.I hear you, and I agree, but IMO why DOM isn't signing is simple: Labels aren't offering him anything that he can't do himself/with arch and drewbyrd.meh don't get when people say thisnot like he's spitting over boring boom bap beats . . . his music is smooth and would do well on radio as it already is . . .Yellow Album should have been an album through a major distribution channel and it would have sold very well . . . i was straight only wearing vans for a minute after that song
mannn i havent been in the wdywt thread in ages!! i wonder what its like in there now
Can't even front I listened to so much Dom that I started wearing Chanel Platinum. Broads be like "you smell good" sometimes I hit them with "this that platinum"
I think a lot of people confuse Dom's vibe with being lazy. Dom always seems happy and content with living his own life and doing his own thing, just doing things that make him happy. He seems like someone who is happy with the way his life has turned out and is just enjoying it.
