They are the exception not a rule.

People who constantly keep pointing to needing more than 1 superstar to win a title are completely missing the point.

What is the point then? That he did it through FA?

LEBRON WAS A FREE AGENT. Those players had GREATS PUT ON THEIR TEAM. "Bailed"? Wasn't Kobe actually about to do just that when he whined for a better team or else he wanted a trade elsewhere?

--Bron being a free agent makes it even worse for him.

He chose to join Miami to achieve his greatness (which he will). Kobe/Shaq...Jordan/Pippen were brought together from forces beyond their control. Fate. Destiny. Call it what you want. They were given something and they worked with it.

So why didn't Kobe "WORK" with Smush and Kwame then, and instead complain about his team to management then until they landed him all-stat talent? HOW DARE YOUR HERO DO THAT!
roll.gif
You are a JOKE. Bashing other player for things that YOUR favorite player did as well. Unless you're somuch of a stan that you think Kobe wouldn't leave LA if he had to keep throwing passes to hands of stone Kwame Brown. Awwwwwwww.
roll.gif
And Detroit had no All-NBA talent? You got a BUNCH of metrics that say otherwise. Not my fault voters are stupid enough not to put any of them on the team.

According to his completely arbitrary rules of what makes a legend in sports, yeah.

All this talk about Leborn Joining WADES team...So what? who the hell wants to stay in CLEVELAND?
I say this all the time none of us know what went on behind the scenes in cleveland. Lebron could have not liked the way things where handled there, and decided to jet. I feel he did the right thing. The man is a man who is trying to make things better for himself to acheive his goal. Thats the thing Lebron haterz dont realize. This man has a job, he does it every well, and he wants to put himself in a position to achieve MORE! He left being a freeagent, he didint complain to his team, and go on the radio and demand a trade, he didnt go out and rape any one. He did what he wanted as a free agent. EVERYTHING HE DID WAS LEGAL, no matter how anyone likes it. If you see a better job option for your self, are you telling me your gunna stick with the job you have now? HELL NO!

Now i can see people being mad at the espn 1 hour show, adimittedly it did seem like a WWE event, but all of that is now gone. We'er at the Playoffs and the heat have the 2nd seed, and are going for that championship. You haterz need to let it go.

Most of you are missing the point of people not coming here. All this inept front office talk and the front office not trying to get people is all +%@#+$+!. The point I have not seen brought up it's the fact that, NOBODY WOULD COME HERE BECAUSE LEBRON WOULDN'T COMMIT TO THE CAVS!!!! Then yall say, you need at least two stars to be a champion. Well guess what, if LEBRON would have signed the extension lets say two seasons ago, you better believe somebody would have come here.

Why would anybody go anywhere, unless they just wanna live in that city, if the current star of that particular team has not committed to that team. A player would be a fool to go to a team not knowing if the main player and draw of that team will not be around. Come on yall stop acting like it was all the front office's fault, stop being ignorant and naive. Their damn hands were tied. A teams current star brings in players, and in some cases, the city itself. In Cleveland's we needed LEBRON to say, I'm going to be a Cav for a long time, then players would have come here, because this ain't Chicago, LA, NY, or Miami. I mean hell, this @##+# went and picked up Fisher from the airport to try and recruit him to Miami, he NEVER did that here, EVER. So stop saying it was the organization's fault, they tried, I live here so I know.

Your front office are some weak-minded sheep then
roll.gif
Your front office is GARBAGE. Way to not BUILD A TEAM because of stars and money (ask Danny Ferry with Perk). GET THE PLAYERS AND SHOW THE DUDE HE GOT TALENTED TEAMMATES HE CAN WIN WITH, instead of a disappearing act Mo Williams, an injury-prone Varejao, a washed-up Shaq and an also washed up Jamison
laugh.gif
How's that legend Mo Williams playing for you right now?

Also another thing. im starting to think that last year when the front office traded Big Z off the cavs, had something to do with why lebron insisted on bringing Z to the Heat
