"The Decision" in retrospect

This dude Luke startin to make me wonder if he's OC.

Seriously, can ya'll see it?

This guy just tried to disrespect the NBA top 50 all time, just cuz.  Then said none of us know about the game of basketball because of how Lebron was thinking and choosing the Heat.
laugh.gif
Like Lebron told him over the phone or some @#$%.  Givin me kind of an OC vibe here.......

It's your problem if you LET perception trump reality, isn't it? Seems like its the "in-thing" around here nowadays.

Could you run me down a list real quick of the NBA top dogs that bailed on their teams to join another's?  I'd like to see that list.

Magic was DRAFTED by LA.  Worthy, DRAFTED by LA
Scottie was traded for by Chicago
McHale and Parrish were traded for
Kobe was traded for to join Shaq
Pau was traded for
KG and Ray were traded for
Park and Ginobili were DRAFTED to the Spurs along with Duncan, who was DRAFTED to go with David.
Isiah and Dumars, didn't leave teams to join together.
Shaq was traded for to join Wade
Drexler was traded for to help Dream

You've already established that you have the reading comprehension of a child a long time ago. Now you think I'm actually "disrespecting" the NBA top 50?
laugh.gif
There was an obvious point behind what I said there but it ain't my fault you're too dense to get it.You related to DARTH by any chance?

who said I will?

We will see how it all plays out..

I am able to see that if Wade is the one making plays in the 4th qrtr this year or next that lead to a title or 2..it gets a little more difficult to prop Bron up and put him on his way to being a top 5 player of all time.

I will hopefully get to acknowledge that Bron is the dominant one and leads the way. the then B.S. about it being 'Wade's team' proceeds to go out the window.

--Yeah and you've been too dense to accept the fact that I, DARTH have no issue with Bron joining his homies on the Heat.
--You had an issue with me saying he quit. But I'm done with that.

Your words, not mine.

And like has been said over and over, Bron joined Wade's team, not the other way around.  He and Wade and Bosh all got together, and picked to play together, and did it in Wade's city.  And on top of that, Wade and Bosh came out and announced first, Bron the next day.  That's part of the tarnish I think.  Had they all 3 said same day, then maybe the backlash would be slightly less.  Maybe not, but possibly slightly less.  It was simply a matter of the way it all shook out.  That's what people have said all along.

Like I said, if in 5 years everything worked out fine, maybe nothing will be said about it.  Gotta wait and see.

They play basketball for 48 minutes, for 4 quarters. Every point counts and counts the same.

--Bron being a free agent makes it even worse for him.

He chose to join Miami to achieve his greatness (which he will). Kobe/Shaq...Jordan/Pippen were brought together from forces beyond their control. Fate. Destiny. Call it what you want. They were given something and they worked with it.
--Youre sitting here thinking I'm a Kobe stan that hates Bron. I dont. You're just still crying that I stated that he quit.

--The 2004 Detroit Pistons had NO All-NBA type talent and won it all. Wallace, Sheed, Prince, Hamilton and Chauncey are not NBA first teamers.

I don't care how they got there. The fact is, they were there. LeBron is supposed to play with inferior talent his entire career because the front office is inept?

So your issue isn't that he's playing with other great players, it's that he did it through FA? Cleveland had 7 years to bring in a legit second option and it never happened. You're punishing him for his front office.
