The Ubiquitous Max was one of the most durable pairs of sneakers I ever owned. Those deserve a proper retro.

You could be right. The only retros I remember were the Darwin Lites and the monstrosity that was the Darwins with the all air bubble soles. Uggh.I was thinking of these. Perhaps I'm confused with something else though.
Hahaaa! Nice! You never forget your 1stAhhh... one of the best memories of all. Wore this shoe the day I lost my virginity.NKOTB posters all over that room.I was likebut I wasn't about to question shorty's taste in music if she was about to let me get it in.
It has been losing life but we have managed to keep it going. I have to take some more pics of stuff I have. Been so busy.I love the fact that this thread just won't die! That & the fact that it reminds me so much of the NT I used to lurk lol.

You can definitely call these teaser pics as the quality on my old phone camera was trash.id like some teaser pics of this epic stash of yours. curious to know how much is left after all the awesome things its produced.
The 1st time I walked in there I heard Angels sing. It was glorious.man, ive had dreams about places like that... (srs I have, lol)

Hey David how's it going? How's all those Barrages treating you? That's cool I would love to stroll into a store and see all that heat!Great pic Primo! There is a store here in San Jose that had a crazy stash of vintage Nikes, 3-4times as many shoes as above. Countless pairs of heat! Nike Air Barrage, Griffeys, Deion DT's, Pippens, Jordan's, Raids,Slants, Turf Marauders. Keep the heat rollin out PRIMO. -twin1er

If I had the time, I'd be more than happy to join this project of yours. But I don't, an I'm kinda far away.Hey David how's it going? How's all those Barrages treating you? That's cool I would love to stroll into a store and see all that heat!
The pics I posted only show half of the garage. It's completely filled. There is also 3 more storage units filled! I need to just do a full inventory so I know exactly what is there. Just don't know if I have that much free time and ambition.
Can't remember if I already posted these. Sold them a few months ago.

I wish I could tell you but then I would have to kill you. Lol. My friend would never let anyone see where it is. There are only about 5 people who know about it including me. He's paranoid like that. That place sounds awesome! Where in SJ is it? And is it still there? I would love to check that place out.
I'm sure you would. If I had the time, I'd be more than happy to join this project of yours. But I don't, an I'm kinda far away.
Man you are on them Barrages!!! Yeah I can see the language barrier being a pain. I would have to hire a translator or something. Lol. Wow $40 for some Barrages. That is a come up for real! You know I got you if I find anymore.Yo PRIMOOooo! Barrages are treating me well. Picked up another pair of Blk/Wht/Teal Mid Barrages from same seller in China, DS 11.5 for $170. He has other colorways of Barrages, both lows and mids, but has yet to post em' for sale. The language barrier between the third party and myself has been the biggest hurdle between us being able to do more busines. Rhino, store does still exist. San Jose Blue Jean's is the name of the store. East Side San Jose, Tully and White Rd. The owner was a old Mexican man, but was recently sold to another gentlemen. The new owner really fixed up the place nice. He also started doing custom color way New Eras, and he's ordering Massachusetts AHL Sharks hats, this team still uses the OG Sharks logo. People ran through all the Nike boxes the last 4-5 years. Just recently one of the girls at the store told me that they sold any/all left over shoes, NIKES,Reebok, TROOPS, Converse, w/ boxes, no boxes for $20 any pairs. Crazy! My best finds there were 4 DS pairs of canvas Air Barrage lows for $40 a pair around 6 years ago.. Primo, if you find more Barrages, hit me up! David-twin1er
Ahh...the Peace Raids. Dope shoe for sure.I remember having those Rodmans when I was younger. Those pics brought me back!
These are obv not my shoe, but this is a shoe that always stood out in m mind as far as retro nikes. Another tinker creation.

Yeah they are dope. I so wish they were wearable!!!!!epic bowl trainers, love those. one of nike's more unusual lacing systems. I have 3 colorways of em, including that one, not wearable anymore either tho sadly.
also, I don't know anyone that loves barrages more than twin1er does! he loves those as much as I love my marauders for sure. cant blame him tho, they are amazing shoes. I wore mine on tues.
Good job with the pic. It works for me. As far as if they were meant for a bowl game I don't know. Hmm...I was bored so I took 5 mins out my day to merge the photos. Did my best without spending anymore time on it...

The Peace Raids or the Darwins? I have a few more Darwins.I'm still trying to locate a pair. corgishoe on IG had a pair for sale but it wasn't my size.
Got these exact same shoes a few months back for $40 and they're barely wearable. I think I'm gonna take some time & try to restore them this summer. I've never done a restoration job before, but if I mess up, at least I didn't lose a lot of money lol.I just grabbed these the other day. My size too but they aren't wearable. Dammit!

Wow, I remember that! These and the Air Bakin's were recalled, there might have been another model too. Anyhow, because of the recall, I was able to buy 3 pairs of the red/blk Air Bakin's for $25 each at the outlets in 1997. The bottom sole was blacked out and they put black nike tabs on the back of the heel to cover the AIR that looked like Allah.
