Memphis has to move to bringing in Hardaway just to have any shot at legit recruits going there

Tubby Smith's last half of his career ended up being a fraud plain and simple. He hasn't had a team ranked in the final Top 25 since the 2004-05 season.

No kids are trying to play for Tubby in 2018. Like you said, he hasn't a good team since my man Bubba Sparks was playing at UK.

I never understood why schools hire retreads like tubby when you know what you’re gonna get. Much prefer swinging for the fences and hiring an up and comer.

NCAA Reports Record $1.1B in Revenue

The NCAA reported a revenue of $1.1 billion for the 2017 fiscal year after releasing their annual audited financial statement.

The NCAA, which operates as a non-profit organization, surpassed the $1 billion threshold for the first time.

The NCAA gets the majority of its revenue from two sources: The Division I Men's Basketball Championship, along with marketing rights/championship tickets sales.

Meh...technically he built that Texas tech team that been top 10 all year

If Texas Tech two years after you left is all you got to show for this last half of your career then I guess that proves the point IMO.

I actually am interested to see what the Penny experiment would be like at Memphis. Hiring him alone would put 8,000 more fans a game into the seats at least

you guys hear about the new format for the selection show? They’re just going to release all 68 teams at once. And then show matchups/location.

Dumb.

Can we be done w/ the Trae Young college experience and the media slurpfest?

How is OU still projected to make the tourney? No team with 11 conference losses, a sub .500 conference record, should be sniffing the tourney unless you're trending up and to the right.

Syracuse needs some good talent coming in the next couple recruiting classes. They only have 3 players worth anything on the current roster

Tell us more man...don’t make a statement like that then don’t follow up with support.

Well it’s nothing I personally have an inside track on, and certainly nothing proven. But very alarming accusations made by female students in chapel hill of sexual assault, engaging in unprotected sex while knowingly having a STD, crazy stuff. I’ll try to find some of the threads.

I hope that’s not true but with the actions the school took which were very swift, I find it hard to believe they’re not

Top ten class next year thankfully and hopefully everyone returning (Batttle might go) sanctions did the job thats for sure. Finally done with it now at least. But yea the talent level on this team along with depth was no bueno

Davidson went to the NIT Curry’s last season ‍♂️
I could care less about how the teams actually perform. I didn't care about LSU being bad with Simmons or Washington being bad with Fultz.

I do think the individual performances are important though, and I feel like he's had countless 7-21 with high turnover performances in conference play. Looking at his stats now, he's shot over 40% from the field in only 6 out of 20 Big 12 games.

Obviously this isn't the be all end all, and he could improve into a much more efficient player in a system with more structure. I guess I'm just not as completely wowed by him like some are.
