Not trying to be an apologist here, but I don't think the Griffin situation is that big of a deal. The dude was probably being super annoying, Blake has probably been drinking a bit, got fed up with him and lost it a bit. One misdemeanor count is really nothing. **** like that probably happens in a nightly basis in Vegas. Its only in the news because Blake's an NBA player. And, yeah, you can call him soft if you want, but the fact is, if he knocked the guy out, he'd probably be looking at a felony charge and a civil suit for damages. But as it is, he's going to get off with small fine and probably some community service, if that.

And let's not act like he's the first NBA player to ever do something like this. Chuck threw a guy out a window.
