Crytopsy is pretty awesome, but whatever you do, avoid Once Was Not like the plague. I'm not sure what they were thinking on that record. On a slightly different note, that band has about as many ex-members as Death or Megadeth haha

That's why I was careful which album I told him to listen to.


That being said, the evolution and change in sound of artists over the years and as they go through members is fascinating to me.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Evolution is a very important thing to me, whether it involves new members or not, but when the same core group of musicians endure the duration, it seems a bit more meaningful, I guess, and definitely more impressive. I really hate it though when bands stay stagnant and release the same album over and over.

No, unfortunately we haven't. I do adore them, though. I've seen them every time they've been in town since I started listening to them. Are You Done Yet (lol) is their worst record, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad. I do really like a few songs, and there are a couple other that are pretty solid, but the rest are kinda meh. Hatebreeder is my favorite by a little bit over Follow the Reaper and Hate Crew, then Blooddrunk, and then Something Wild.

i think im the only person that doesnt like in your face. its kinda whatever to me even though it seems to be one of if not the most popular song in their discography. follow the reaper and tokyo warhearts are my favorites and my least favorite is probably blooddrunk. done with everything die for nothing was not the best representation of them in guitar hero imo. needled 24/7 woulda been crazy. or if they must pick a song from the newest album i would of liked hellhounds or one day you will cry

both classics that should be in everyones collection. although i think some of yall might prefer Cro-Mags Best Wishes album its more metal, i prefer AOQ though. John Joseph isnt on this album Harley Flanagan (bass) took over vox for this one. great record also.

Have you checked on ticketmaster they should have the info on the show.  Mine are 73 but plus the fees probably a little under 100.

The Maiden concert is the day after my birthday, but it's all the way up in Auburn, Washington

Looks like tickets are $25-75

i guess they were right, tickets really are inflated as hell up here

ga are 100 bucks a piece up here, before fees. 75 will get you somewhere in the back of the upper bowl and 40 bucks will get you nosebleeds in the 300 section
