I hope someone can answer my question quickly. I know the original hyper blue Air max Plus came out in 1998 but was thereanother release of this shoe in 2002/2003? Thanks.

jake, cris: i don't have a LOT of airmax per se, but here goes!

when i first started off buying sneakers, i bought a lot of af1s, slowly progressing to SBs. i suppose this was my first "airmax" ever:

i moved back to asia and then i started really liking airmaxes for no particular reason. i bought a pair of atmos am1s for $115 which was local malaysianretail:

from there on, i pretty much couldn't control myself and bought AMs only:

i also try to share the love with my gf:

if anyone is interested, i have a slightly better timeline in my collection post in my sig... all my shoes are worn - i keep none of these crispy.

Yes, there was a retro in 2003. The main differences with the '03 retro are the clear blue plastic toe cap (instead of the clear transparentplastic) and the midsole. The originals have white surrounding the medial portion of the Tuned Air unit while the retros have that portion colored dark blue.

IINM, it was a women's colorway in 1999. I remember someone in seventh grade wearing these (I saw quite a few

AM95s during this year). That is the kid's size version.

Picked these up today, the best modern structure cw as far as i'm concerned. Payed less than retail, but not as muchless as normal, but i love them.

Also picked up another "run" T, blue to go with the sneaks, they had grey and black as well, i already have the white one which i picked up inThailand last year(pictured).

Thanks for the approvals so far fam! Those BWs are really nice, softer mesh I assume? I have really loved some of the AM Lights they have put out of the pastyear or so but haven't pulled the trigger yet...the conversion rate and shipping is just killing me...I would have really loved a pair of laser blue lightsor the neon colorway....11-12 anyone? edit....heads up to size 13 Spiridon searchers....there is a nice pair on that auction site reasonably priced right nowwith about 7.5 hrs left.....PM me for the link
