Feeling like ol dude with the shoe choices at the gym

Musta been amateur hour. I keep at least 3 pairs of Metcons and 3 pairs Romaleos 2/3's in a basket in the trunk at all times, plus some slip ons and some random Nikes.:blush:

Any recommendations for good weightlifting shoes ?

Oly lifts, OHP, or Squats: Romaleos 2's or Romaleos 3 XD's (depends on whether you want something more stable/heavier or lighter/more flexible, respectively). I'd say this is the right answer, regardless of your ankle mobility (makes a difference at heavier weights).

General lifting: Metcons, any XF or cross training shoe, etc.

Deadlifts: Sabo Deadlifts, wrestling shoes, or deadlift slippers. Used to pull in Chucks and switch to Sabos, difference is like night and day. Again, the difference at heavier weights is noticeable. If you pull 500+ you will be able to tell. Don't know anyone irl who pulls in socks (not allowed, kinda grimey) but some people like it.
 
Your gyms have too many rules. I pull in socks. It’s not any grimier than using a machine everyone sweats on or a barbell people touch with their sars and Ebola hands.

I kinda agree, but since most people are kinda gross anyways, I guess this one makes sense. Nobody's gonna be mopping the platforms after every session.
 
was thinking about getting one of these. anybody own one of these for their home gym?
i'd probably could use chairs or something similar at home
