Well.......I won't lie.......I'm a little confused.

Such a banger ep last week, so much momentum, and then this week........it was basically a Garfield episode.

I did like Lord Bortles dialogue and more questioning of the Jedi way, teaching her to trust herself above any. Not sure we needed him to be naked, but whatever.

A whole bunch of dead Jedi and we send a 4 person search team? Not a dozen? Or two dozen? Or a hundred?

I know not every ep will be elite, but very strange after last week to then look back down a lil. Maybe it will payoff soon.

Maybe her backstory, I guess????

The whole time I looked at it from "a certain point of view" since they were showing us the same episode a different way. Seemed like a whole misunderstanding. Leading up to......? We have one ep left to close neatly, otherwise are they betting on a S2?

Best part was Jedi Wookie goin rogue.
Trinity didn't deserve to get got, she had nothin to do with what happened.

I'm still enjoying it tho, just a lil confused. Hoping for a strong close.

I’m just enjoying the ride. I couldn’t imagine having this much Star Wars content just a few years ago. Especially with also being a Star Trek fan. Seems ST always has some new show or movie that fills in gaps of time. It is good to know SW is trying.

We aren’t going to get any closure from episode 8. They are leaving it open for another season. They should just have a show about Qimir. Call it Qimir The Stranger. He’s the only character in this series I have any interest in.

Well......it wasn't perfect, but it was a solid enough 8 ep arch.
It needed some fine tuning.
Plagueis was a cool reveal. He learned from the witches?!?!? (or it could be vice versa)

Yo, the Kyber crystal turning color was SICK.
Kinda liked that.
It hit better than Smylo having a real blade and then a shorty half blade???? Couldn't tell if bad CGI or really was a shorty.

Jedi Shrek was a b**** for lyin on Sol. Covering up a potential huge threat too. Jedi were even dumber before Sidious marked them.

Do we get a S2? Kinna hope so. Let's get rid of everything else and make it a full on Sith series.

Coulda fixed a few details to tighten it up, keeping Trinity longer woulda helped imo, but overall I didn't hate it. Kinda flip floppy and not sure why it's called The Acolyte and no one knows who the actual Acolyte is.
Lord Bortles tho, give him his own show.

“Kill without a weapon” was so painfully obvious I’m ashamed at myself for not picking up on that several episodes ago …

Bleeding the crystal was dope…

Probably an unpopular opinion but I was glad to see Sol get all that hung on his neck at the end…Big time scumbag vibes from him at the end there…After all he’d been through he STILL thought he was right …

Overall there’s enough there to get me back for a season 2 but they’re going to need to get the story seriously nailed down before they do it…They could’ve gotten the show to this point two or three episodes ago and really used the remaining episodes to dig into the Sith a bit more…

The criticism of this show was more entertaining than the show itself. I wanna know where that $180 million production budget went, because this show looked like it was cheaply made.

Obi Wan stood there to die vs Vader.
Qui Gon got beat vs the only Sith he ever fought, with a man advantage.
Mace got got by his own team.
Anakin jumped ship.
Rest of em lost to Clones.

Yoda, eh.

Luke is your best hope at anything cool and he celebrated makin out with his sister.
Younger Obi was aight.

So not sure why anyone expected more from them.

To be fair, I been pro Sith from jump, so maybe it's just from a certain point of view.....

The Jedi ARE kind of lame tbh. I feel like I’ve rooted for them usually because they’ve been key in helping the oppressed in more modern timelines. However, if they’re in the role of the oppressor like in Acolyte, then welp lol

jedis always look cool with the robes and the lightsabers, people wouldnt be dressing up as them if they didnt and kids like them a lot

though the robes in this show looks kinda bad but dont really need to pile on the show

and you dont need to do anything to be cool looking and get a following, look at boba fett, what did he really do in the og 3 episodes?

but obi wan was cool, dude stood there to die so luke could ascend i guess but dude had the high ground and made good use of it, i dont know he was cool through the prequels

mace was cool with hit purple lightsaber and sounds like a bad*ss when he talks, its samjack being jedi samjack so thats cool enough to me

anakin was supposedly great in the animated shows ( im still too lazey to watch em though so imma take yall word for it)

plus like it or not, the jedis are the protagonists in the SW world and thats like their selling point so choosing the events when they lost or died isnt really an indication that the character sucks just because mj played for the wizards doesnt mean he isnt the goat

its unfortunate how they have been portrayed in the films and shows late but they are suppose to be the good guys, at some point people starts to hate bret hart and cheer on stonecold though

i know, heard nothing but great things but theres just so many of them

im even guilty of asking here (multiple times) a list of the episodes to watch and skip to remove the fillers but i still havent gotten into it, just so much commitment, i dont even think a weekend is enough

now that the acolyte and boys are done, maybe ill get into it after HotD S2 finale but dont be surprised if im hear again next year asking for that list again

Rebels I did live day 1. I learned my lesson waiting on Clone.

The Cartoon Network Clone Wars series is still my favorite. I can watch those and jump right into Revenge of the Sith and that’s all the prequel I need.

Related old man rant but am I the only one that thinks visual data and flowcharts are overcomplicated nowadays? They make these fancy *** charts and everyone just nods their head, "yeah sure, I get this".
