No. If it's like GOT.
It'd be Rey Solo. She related to Ben Solo.

And they'll bang.
(**gag**)

I may have asked this question already but why are two people with the rank of general and captain the most powerful leaders below Snoke in the First Order?

?

I see no explanation here

Also - the First Order is a military dictatorship that emphasizes conformity, order, and control

Flat command structures don't do that

Even more puzzling when considering the fact that the First Order is a direct continuation of the military of the Galactic Empire, which had a much more believable command structure

And if the visual guide is to be believed, their vessels tend to be staffed in the millions? With "Captain" Phasma and "General" Hux running the whole shebang?

lol

What's so funny?! Did you read the ENTIRE first overall link? Would have lead you to tangent followup links.

Flat Command Structure would absolutely be best to "emphasize conformity, order and control". Smaller in Numbers, the First Order considers themselves to be a purer form of the Galatic Empire.

Hux is an Elite Legacy decendant of First Order Society. Read the links about his father. Your problem is with his stupid depiction in the TLJ as a buffoon. And since Phasma was a major part of training troopers, stands to reason that she is first among Equals cause based on Command Ship.
Some other officers in TFA.

I've read this Wikia page several times in the past

No. Flat command structures are designed to encourage creativity, individuality, and innovation by de-emphasizing the "top-down" nature of traditional organizational leadership

You're thinking of a "tall" command structure

Well yes, my problem is also with Hux's silly buffoonery

Descendant, elite, whatever. He should have been ranked higher

Ren is fine because he's got that Vader Dark Side apprentice privilege where everybody just answers to him when he shows up, no questions asked

Hux and Phasma were just given random titles as part of their character names. There was no thought given to the actual position they would occupy in a military junta given their power.

The worldbuilding is weak b

You can show me all those unnamed officers but interestingly enough they have no place in the mythos thus far and nothing indicates they have as much or greater influence as the Ren-Hux-Phasma triumvirate - and yes they called it a "triumvirate" lmfao

I agree the Worldbuilding is still weak. Not going to get much detail in two focused movies. Hopefully books, comics and other media will fill and expand the creativity.

That flat Command Structure is not going to be encouraging creativity, individuality and innovation under a Totalitarian Regime. Top Down is built into the System. As for Hux ranked higher, there's no rank above General in that chart link. But his responsibilities speak of the power reach he holds.

We haven't been shown how the First Order functions and is structured. Personally hoping for more bad guys to be introduced.

What were the names of the leaders in A New Hope in 1977? Like the dude Vader choked out.......

They aren't important to the story. Same as with this story.

Range Trooper: as in mountain range trooper?!
Okay. Must be stationed on the spice mines of Kessel. Looks a bit like the Snowtroopers and also see the R1 battle tank driver.

You mean Joint Chief Admiral Conan Antonio Motti, who had just been arguing with Joint Chief General Cassio Tagge before the entrance of Darth Vader and Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin?

On that note, what about Captain Firmus Piet, in ESB, who was explicitly promoted to Admiral after Vader killed his superior, Admiral Kendal Ozzel?

Yes, exactly those guys, who's names are not said like that in the movie in any way.

You never heard the word Wilhuff in those movies, so where do you get it from? From books and internet, right? As in, OUTSIDE the movie, right? 8o

You silly b.

The point isn't their names, it's the fact that the movies that they appear in have an actual adult understanding of how military command structures work

AND NO, THEIR NAMES AND RANKS APPEAR IN THE CREDITS YOU ***

Ok, so, military command structures in space need to be identical to ours here on Earth? Otherwise it doesn't make sense?

And you learned all those names from watching the credits? For real?
