As of today, I am officially taking Dec 18-31st off work. I took about the same time off last year BUT this year, those days will be filled with me going to IMAX Point Orlando (one of the biggest IMAX theaters in the SE US last I checked) to see Ep 7. I plan on watching it well over ten times.

I may go to NY for a few days, and will continue to find a way through any snow storm to watch the film in a theater lol

Marked my Marvel calendar the day I got it and use it at the office.

These are exciting times people, it's great to be a Star Wars fan!

EDIT: I think I'll take off 1/1 as well..
Since it's a Friday. No need to come in to the office only for that one day lol

Walter..

I just rewatched Ep 1-6 again.

:hat

My girl's aunt lives in the country, us and some friends are going to have an outdoor Star Wars viewing weekend at her place. We're going to camp out in tents, bbq, drink, and watch all six films on a projector over the course of a weekend.

Man I will try to do that as well. Outdoor SW sounds like a lot of fun!!

Man December cant come soon enough.

To this day, Legos are still the best toys... I was so sad when my 11 year old outgrew playing with them... What is it about a Lego figure that makes it so damn cool?!?!?

I feel you on that man. I have two boys 4 & 7 years old that love Star Wars Lego's. I'll buy them a set if they did good in school or something as a reward. But sometimes if I really want a set I'll be like "hey you guys did a great job swimming today - you deserve a reward" LOL.

Always wanted to build the super star destroyer but never had the money/had space to put it anywhere. Maybe one day :lol

I'm lowkey getting back into collecting legos. The funny thing is that some people who make custom vehicles, create way better versions than the official lego sets.

For example:

Real life 1:1 scale landspeeder

Official lego set:

Custom landspeeder. The detail is crazy for a minifig scale vehicle (broken left thruster, hood markings etc)

My girl just got me my first two Star Wars lego sets and I started building an A-Wing last night. Scoping craigslist out for more. It's pretty fun putting them together.

Nice, bro. My sister in law bought me the X-Wing last Christmas and I've been slacking. I need to build it soon already :lol

Rewatched all 6 movies last weekend with my roommate. He is 30(I'm 25) and never saw a Star Wars movie in his life and always said they were boring. As he was leaving the house that day he turned back and said "may the force be with you" :hat

The older movies had so much happening. Cant wait for episode 7 to drop!

I haven't bought any of the lego's, but I have a few coffee mugs, bobble heads, etc that I've somehow managed to place in my living room without upsetting the Mrs too much. :lol

One of these days, I might get like a book shelf, and load up all the video games, blu rays, dvds, etc, and put those things in with them. But I don't have enough yet. (well, I do, if I included the books I guess, hmmmmmmm)

The UCS xwing is great, need to get the red five next but I figure it might be better to save up for the new sets this December

UCS MF is still the Grail
