Agreed. It will be damn near impossible to recast the voice. Earl Jones is the VOICE of the pain in Vader. Still cant wait to see some singular Vader stories... they have a lot of wiggle room to work.

All James has to do is do in to the booth for 4 hours and he's done maybe come back every couple weeks/months for any changes he can play vader forever and when he does retire Matt Sloan can come back just like how Sam witwer is the new voice of palpatine

Like I said maybe it's probably a reach. But the rumors point to
Luke only having two scenes in the entire movie... Would they have had Hamill narrate the script at the table read if he had a big role in the movie / a lot of lines?
Just another thing that makes the rumor seem more true imo. Again, people could be thinking to much into this. But it makes sense to me.

Its possible, remember that all the OG actors are now pushin 60-70. Chewie can barely stand now, and it makes sense that the movies will be mostly to create a new narrative. Still I wouldn't mind seeing some Hamill fights.
