I wish we had an Old Republic Sith Star Wars show with the same tone / realism as this Andor show. And it was 10 seasons long with Light vs dark Bane etc. One could only dream.

They keep teasing us by making parts of the old republic cannon little by little. For example they confirmed that the Infinite Empire existed when Andor was given the kyber crystal and they name dropped the Rakata.

This thread is so dead, this news from yesterday slipped past me.
Way too much goin on yesterday for me to catch that. 
But to be honest, they've announced 63 movies in production with this or that director only to be cancelled or forgotten a month later. Until I see an actual trailer, not sure why I'd expect this one to be any diff.

I just completed my Rogue One rewatch. I’d probably say it’s a 7.5/10.
It’s a jam packed movie with nods to the original trilogy (the cameos and lead into Episode IV).
It’s brisk and moves quickly.
I think my only issue is the clunky matter of circumstance that sets up events that need to happen in order to move the stores forward.
Definitely appreciate Andor and how it expands the character. It also helps to expand the Empire, Senate, Rebel dynamic.

It's still the best of the Star Wars movies - but it definitely suffered from rewrites and reshoots so it's not as cohesive as it should have been.

Jedi tales, finished watching all of them. They answer some of the questions we've had for years.
I dont like how Disney, Lucas films, are spreading out the missing storylines years apart and within several different movies and shows. Rebels, clone wars, you really have to watch so many of them to fully appreciate the characters.

Andor feels like the first D+ series that takes the star wars universe seriously. Really digging it so far.
One thing I gotta say that trumps obi wan is the music. I did not like the OST in obi at all but they finally brought a heavy hitter to do the music in this.

wow. what an episode. if disney had released all episodes in one go this season would of likely been one of the best shows of all time. This slow drip one a week doesn’t do it justice.
