:lol You know what I mean tho, Disney. I know she's in charge, but I gotta believe she isn't the only one making decisions or having input.

Filoni and Jon keep getting their projects approved and moved forward with because it all just revolves around some version of the same ****ing era. Let that **** go and start telling new(er) stories. (Granted, Old Republic been told before, but not on screen.)

They announced/cancelled the Patty Jenkins Rogue Squadron movie. I never believed everything KK announced last year would ever see the light of day and that’s two cancelled already, so far.

Rogue Squadron was never cancelled, just delayed.
not cancelled

apparently phatty exited the celopatra film to make ww3 and squadron so it might not even be delayed

Told ya'll to let go of that hope last year:lol:

And I'm not coming from a "told you so" stance either. Just the disappointment of a wound re-opened. A movie about an X-Wing squad has been one of my biggest wishes since even before the OG N64 games...just whack all around:smh:

My 14yo has just discovered Star Wars - so she’s watched everything in the last few weeks.

Finally managed to persuade her to watch Rogue One yesterday - I don’t know what was stopping her. Still my favorite and the best ending - obviously Vader but just the emotion of it too.

Now we’re on season 1 of the Mandalorian and that really holds up.

If Andor is anything like Rogue One it will be amazing.

The First order was a mistake. We got to see no prosperity on screen before they plugged in another fascist regime.
If you score off 1,2,3,7,8 and 9 that list would be much better.

The original trilogy are still great movies, and the new stuff has enough attention to detail to make them really interesting and expand the universe, but the prequels and sequels don’t. Solo is probably the only one that was a bit disappointing.

I wish I could go back in time and see various Star Wars films for the first time again. (If that makes sense) :frown:

I thought Kylo Ren's lightsaber was goofy enough but do my eyes deceive me? Did I just see a lightsaber spaceship? They're just snorting Cinnabon syrup over at Disney.

It is kind of fun living it through someone else - but now she’s excited about watching the prequels. To be fair Phantom Menace is starting well but we’re only a few minutes in.

Fell asleep on it because I was tired, but it looked good from what I saw. I'll wait till ep 4 drops to finish it up.

check out one of Diego's first american flicks "Criminal" with John C Reilly, really good grifter movie
