another contradiction.

obi wan couldnt let darth maul know about luke so he made sure he died with that secret.

he just let reva go like wtf?

who do you blame when you hire writers and directors who dont take the time to thoroughly study the source material? But it gets approved anyways?

I don’t know if it was a great show or not, but the final lightsaber dual is one of the greatest moments in the history of the franchise imo.

The only thing that didn’t make sense to me was Obi
letting Vader live. Look his heart still bleeds for his friend and we all get that. But he’s Vader now and he’s evil and even Obi acknowledged that.

Think of all the lives he might have saved if he had ended it right there.

…you can’t let some blind devotion to a broken friendship getting the way of that.

Also it does somewhat diminish the climactic nature of their meeting in A New Hope.

I just don't understand how Leia doesn't seem to remember Obi-wan in Ep4 when he gives that message to R2. I can understand Luke not remembering him since it was probably a quick intro.

I thought qui-gon would have a bigger role than the last 10 seconds at the end tho....
Leia doesn’t seem to remember him?

…that wasn’t my interpretation.

Not to make excuses but I don't think she needed to go into their full relationship history on a super quick "help meee" message.

Another thing about this series. So now you can get stabbed with a lightsaber and live. I don't remember that being the case in the past

Probably depends on whether it penetrated any vital organs.

…just like a regular sword.

Well Darth Maul got cut in half and lived.

In the old canon they go into detail about it. Sith can survive life threatening injures due to their hatred and refusal to die. Jedi on the other hand accept that death is apart of the force. Which is why Jedi can become force ghosts and Sith cannot unless they get redeemed before death.

Would of been pretty cool to see. Vader/Anakin as a force ghost, possibly with Luke training Rey in a better/well written sequel. Lol.

I thought you could only force ghost after certain training as a Jedi.

They screwed that up with Anakin and qui gon showing up tho.

Anakin is unexplained but pretty sure there is an episode of Clone Wars that goes over Qui Gon and his ability to appear as a force ghost.

Vader getting washed over and over makes me sad. Dude fr takes Ls left and right.

That made sense to me though - and I think that was the point of the training scene - he has all the physical skills but is too impatient - a lesson Obi-Wan learned before.

He took advantage of that again to defeat him.

yea his trials were incomplete in that episode so he shouldnt have been an actual visible force ghost in the show.

this what i mean when i say these writers should really study the source material.

How badass would it have been if Vader flew on his tie fighter to meet obi wan like he did asohka

Super lame we didn’t get one of these:lol
