Seeing Obi-Wan and Anakin train and spar together really made me wish we got 3 full movies of that the proper way. :(

And then to top it off, seein absolute Prime Vader in a lightsaber duel, without a lightsaber..... :lol :hat

Vader was definitely OP.

I was a little miffed he didn’t try to grab the second ship. Or throw the first one at the second.

They should’ve just given us a Vader series where he was pillaging through the Universe.

Did they fire the guy who did the de aging on Luke in Bobba Fett? Hayden looking like an old man.

Man.........that was a lot of fun.

They certainly TRYING to bore me to hell, but they also got me tingly with some of their other stuff.

Leia bein handy with the wiring made me think of her son (Anakin) bein a master at circuitry. (I doubt that was their plan, but it def made me think of it)

We can force stop one ship ( :wow: ) but not the other? Que?

But damnit.........Clone Wars Anakin v Obi Wan was just beautiful. And Vader vs his own Inquisitor was 🔥🔥🔥
That's the stuff that should have been in film (II and III) That frustrates me alot.

But it's ok, we have it now.

Vader, of all people, should know about blading someone and walkin away before they're finished..... :smh:

For a brief moment, I thought we were gonna have an Obi-Wan + Night sister vs Vader brawl. :wow: I wish they would have, but seein Vader stand there with no Saber and still body her was :pimp:

Hope we get a great close next week.
Leia had a son named Anakin? ****

Leia had a son named Anakin? ****

In the EU (before Disney) Ham and Leia had 3 children. Twins Jacen and Jaina, and Anakin. He signified her ability to forgive her father.

All 3 kids would become very strong young Jedi themselves. (As would she)

If Disney just adapted the EU and corrected some of the issues like comic book films have done, we'd have had 20 films by now all hitting a billion worldwide. :{

They should’ve just given us a Vader series where he was pillaging through the Universe.

I’ve been saying for years the most interesting part of this story is Anakin first being angry and tempted and finally becoming Vader - and in the movies it was done in minutes - it should have been Better Call Saul - years of progression with the last season being prime Vader like this.

I’m loving this series so far though - it’s showing just enough of that for now.

This episode made me think for a second I wouldn't be mad if season 2 was just Obi and Anakin training and going on adventures

Probably the best episode of the series so far.

Vader pulling the ship down was dope but the rage fueled ripping of the side panels was :pimp:

Third sister finally taking her crack at Vader and catching the L.. satisfying and bad***.

They did the Tarla scene extremely well, I almost choked up and I ain’t eem know shawty that long.

Hope episode 6 is just as strong.

Ready for the finale!

Is this a one off series? Are they doing a season 2? If so, they gotta show Maul catching the fade.

Finally caught up on episode V. Sparring duel was wow. We need a trilogy or prime duels again.

Final episode was great.

Didn't know Obi Wan was stronger than Vader. I thought it would end in a tie.

When he three all them rocks at Vader

Glad they actually moved fast and not like a cripple in their duel.

Solid close, but I'll be honest.......no tension.

Sadly, I know Leia lives, Obi Wan cool, Vader straight, Luke, Owen, Beru.........I mean..... :frown:

The IDEA was solid. To create the tension and see how they wiggle outta this or that, but you realize what they just opened up?????
There's a legit other being that knows Luke exists on Tatooine with Obi Wan watching. She knows Anakin is Vader. Obi Wan has now met both Luke and Leia as 10 year olds. They'll meet again in 8 years.

Ben had Vader on the ropes AGAIN?!?!?!?!?!? And he STILL didn't bury his blade in his neck?!?!?!?!?

It was beautiful art the way they showed it. Great scene and all that, but God damn it. :smh:

We coulda had sparring EP 1, Obi v Anakin EP 2, Obi v Vader EP 3. We coulda had that. It was right there. We got an 8 year old boy, Jar Jar and frolicking in some grass. *Sigh*

Qwi-Gon was cool as hell, but we all knew it was coming.
Obi Wan had no Force, to massive overly Jedi Force in a week. Mmmk. (*Shrugs*)

Star Destroyer was BLASTING with about a dozen cannons and that tiny ship just pluggin along.....

It's fun theater and all that, cool images for sure, but they getting real weak writing wise. Rogue One was so damn perfect and they can't seem to fill those 18 other years at all with cohesive content.

Maybe we get an S2 and Obi Wan can get off Tat and get into some other stuff. Qwi Gon visits, maybe help Ashoka maybe even meet Grogu/Mando. I'd be cool with that.

I nitpicked a lil, but I still liked it overall. I'm happy to have content, just wish the writers of Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul were in charge. THAT'S writing. They could do this top level like.

Folks ain't really asking for much. It would be nice if they do something with Breaking Bad level writing but just a satisfying story instead of a collection of moments and base dialogue would be an excellent start. Like the last 4 eps of Clone Wars was great.

The writers, even if they are great, are handcuffed in a sort of Mad-Libs long form...
there are so many parameters, things to include, things to not include, and with things being
decision-by-committee - they get to fill in the blanks...this makes it difficult to come up
with a cohesive plot/story or even dialogue.

Therefore it is not as simple as hiring great writers imo. The bigger the franchise gets,
the more difficult it may become. I hope this helps some folks understand. You may be asking
for a lot.

I just don't understand how Leia doesn't seem to remember Obi-wan in Ep4 when he gives that message to R2. I can understand Luke not remembering him since it was probably a quick intro.

I thought qui-gon would have a bigger role than the last 10 seconds at the end tho....

Obiwan is dead by the time of Mando/Grogu. Hence the de-aged Luke and Ahsoka.

We could have force ghosts interactions with De-aged Luke.

And Disney+ hasn’t sniffed anywhere near BB/BCS with their microwave programs. The brilliance of the original trilogy was Lucas’ vision. Obviously, he flubbed the prequels.

Thays all im trying to see :pimp:
We’ll you got some whimpering and cowardice from a general in the republic. And some Grade A incompetence from the Sith Lord.

The lesson I learned was confirm the kill. And kidnapping should be left to the other franchise Liam Nelson starred in.

Reva is a lame character but they dropped the ball by not linking her origin as a Foundling to Grogu. Grogu was at the Jedi Temple during Order 66.
