Yeah. They recast the role of Spartacus and season 2 should come out around September

As far as I'm concerned, yeah. It's all because the original actor who played Spartacus has/had cancer and couldn't film season 2 when originally planned, so a prequel was filmed to buy time. It's unfortunate that he was replaced, but we'll see how it goes.

I just started watching this show and got hooked. Ended up watching season one in 3 days

Season one was dope, Cant wait for this to start on friday

I dont think it will be the same with the new guy playing Spartacus tho. Hopefully Andy Whitfield gets to come back in time.

i'm sure they'll pack a ton of good stuff in 6 episodes.
lucy lawless, marissa ramirez, and the actress from dexter. 

it looks like they casted a look-a-like to take over as spartacus.  i think it would've been better if they hired someone who looked a little more different.  seeing him on the show would just remind me of andy whitfield.
