SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Could this ignite something? At this point, I just want to not be an embarassment LOL. Team too flawed though, this might have been climax of season.

Dunlap and the rest of the D came up huge today. Turnovers, safety and shutting them out in the 2nd half. Nice game for the most part for Wilson.

Report: Seahawks owner Jody Allen is “very involved” and “not happy” with team’s performance

Seahawks owner Jody Allen has kept a low profile since inheriting the team from her brother, Paul Allen, three years ago. But just because she isn’t speaking publicly doesn’t mean she accepts her team’s 3-8 record. Jody Allen is “very involved” and “not happy” with how the team is performing, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

The report also says Allen views the problems in Seattle as bigger than just a one-year blip for a team that went 12-4 last year and has had nine consecutive winning seasons. If that’s how she sees it, she’s right: The Seahawks don’t have a first-round pick next year because they traded away what may be a Top 5 pick in the 2022 NFL draft as part of the Jamal Adams deal. And although the Seahawks do have a franchise quarterback in place in Russell Wilson, it’s not clear whether Wilson will stick around amid talk that he’s unhappy and wants to go elsewhere.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is under contract through 2025, and even though he turned 70 this season, he has shown no indications that he wants to leave any time soon. But Allen sounds like an owner who is planning to make some changes

Giants make zero sense

Broncos and Saints make more sense roster wise

Heaps has been pushing the 'he wants to be here' narrative tough on the radio lately and I know he's close to the circle so we'll see

I'll take it

Penny has a complete game. It could have been against a peewee team for all care. That's a personal accomplishment for him

Lockett has been the most consistent player through all of this. Love that guy

As a Udub guy really happy to see Sidney have a resurgence back "home". Hope he sticks here

Chances of making the playoffs I think hangs in the balance of next week's game. They beat the Rams, I'll say they can beat the Lions and Bears and think Cardinals will have nothing to play for in that final game and rest their starters. That is if Colt doesn't light up this defense again.

But who knows. NFC is bad all around.

Had no doubt the Hawks were winning this even with it just being one score heading into the 4th. My mom and sister stopped by my house to grab some Texans and Seahawks gear. My sister rocked Texans stuff and my mom head Seahawks stuff, and my mom was celebrating and high fiving in a sea of Seahawks fans :lol :rollin

Not Lockett, huge loss coming into this Sunday's game. Hopefully Russ is able to hit DK with accuracy this week, too many times Russ seems to either sail balls over his head or behind him.

Sports leagues thought they were immune in the same way the general public have pretended to be

Idk why Russ doesn't run anymore. That arm had nothing going and he just sits there waiting for someone to break open after their initial route is already completed at that point.

Those two calls were ******* awful but I still can't shake bad the offense looked

Bad officiating can't cover had broken things are right now on offense

Had high hopes for Shane but man, tough rookie year. Things looked more of the same over time

Man Russ holds on to the ball too damn long sometimes, and you can’t do that with a line as weak as this.
Yea sometimes it appeared he knew defenders were right on him but he still elected to hold the ball and get sacked. Waiting that long for the play to develop only seems to work when Lockett is out there. He had several opportunities to run, I get he doesn't want to risk injury but too many times he passed up open field runs.

Russ with another bad game. Meyers missing another crucial kick. Dickson with 20yd punts. Amadi being Amadi.

Defense wasn’t all bad, but man is it frustrating watching other teams convert 3rd downs on short passes or check downs and dudes missing tackles.

Only bright side is Penny finally getting it going.

Everything has just been off this season. Aside from the first game of the season, which I think was probably their best overall effort, it's been a struggle.

Running game with a revolving door of ball carriers, put even more pressure on Russ to feel like he has to do even more.

O-line again is trash.

Predictable play calling.

Bad coaching decisions.

Inability to put together long sustainable drives. Opposing defenses always look fresh from start to finish.

Russ has looked lost this season. Bad throws, always looking for the HR pass, holds on to the ball way too long. I remember there was a time defenses would assign 1 guy as a spy for Russ. To guard against him running. I don't know who or what caused him to completely ditch his run game.
