You cool with cops being high? Judges? While on the job?
Actually, yes.
Legalize it. Tax and regulate the hell out of it. Good job CO.
Weed caused too many problems with my body.
I had extreme panic attacks and anxiety at any moment, even out of my sleep.
I had blackouts in memory
And crazy hallucinations.
I had to do sleep studies at the hospital because of my bad panic etc.
I had to quit, even though I also had a lot of enjoyment from being high as well.
If I didn't have complications, I'd probably still smoke.. Probably
But there are too many positives to weed. If it can make your lungs stronger, it could be just what I could use to build my luna back up from asthma.
Its a catch 22 for some people (like myself)
But I could never down it, or point a negative finger at someone who smokes it. I just hate how some (a lot) of people grow dependent on it, or try to force weed on the world.
But then again, the weed haters are just as bad. Thus, another catch 22...
Those who enjoy, enjoy it. If you're against it, keep living your life weed free.
Tax is 28%?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
25% sales tax though?
NO!!!!
Plus 2.9% state tax?
This is unscrupulous taxation. There is NO justification for such exorbitant taxation. NONE. Not even alcohol and cigarettes are that highly taxed.
This "tax the hell out of it" mentality has caught on like a wildfire. And people who aren't even from CO can't wrap their heads around how much tax that is.
I live in CO, and it's both. I've seen a bunch of privately owned dispensaries and some public, know some owners and stuffMile High city
I wonder how the shops selling it legally are set up? People can go through a process to get a license and independently own and operate? Or are they gov owned and operated (hope they have better service than the DMV)

There are strict laws and rules to go by. Cameras everywhere, cannabis can only be bought from licensed warehouses. People can grow their own, however they can't sell it dispensaries.
Do they not test for use of weed anymore in the area they are legalized? Like for work or probation I mean.
Can't wait for the first court case "man fired for using weed, man sues work place for discrimination"
excellent point.stop it.
talmbout running a damn country. have you seen our defense budget? We don't need to be fighting illegal wars and taking up causes for other countries. How are we running our country well with gross misuse of tax money? If we spent half of what we spend on the defense budget on healthcare and education initiatives then maybe this country wouldn't be in such a ******g rut.
I'm all for a sales tax, anything beyond that is OD. Weed =/= alcohol, porn or tobacco. I don't recognize this so called sin tax. Weed is not a vice. Type of ignorance we need to get rid of. Just because something is pleasurable doesn't mean it's a vice. Are warm showers a vice? Long walks? How about breathing clean air, that a vice too?
excellent point.
Quick question...
What happened to all the cats that got caught up and are in jail for weed?
Also, of you go for a job... And you have a weed charge on your record from prior to legalization, will they shun you for that?
Man... I've never smoked, but it was because I was playing basketball and they randomly drug tested in college...
Also because it was legal...
I might give it a try though... Ois it too late to start at 25-28?
It's very different. People claim it enhances peoples work. Kinda like how everyone uses those energy drinks. How is it any different from drinking on the job? I'm sure places will still have their drug test for new hires. Probation is probably the same.
seem like prices are not too far off, Tax is what kills it.not a big smoker so please excuse my ignorance
I know there's a tax of some sort...so how much more expensive is it than buying it on the street? how much do you get for your dollar when buying it legally as opposed to buying it before it was legal?
also, I'm assuming it will eventually be legal throughout the whole country. do you guys plan on growing your own or just paying what it costs for whenever you want it?

Do what you want to do in life bro
my boy was like "maaaaan... Minus whale not eem start since you went this long without it"If you're gonna start smoking now make sure you don't get to the point of being a burnout.. that's okay when you're a teenager or early 20s (I was myself for a bit, not gonna lie ) but in your late 20s you have too much to lose
