Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

To me money is just the stuff he can talk about. That hurt seems deeper than $.

Exactly. The money thing is just some surface level ****. I'm 33. My pops was in & out of my life growing up and I'm still hurt off that. Till this day, I think about how different my life would be had my pops been there to guide me. I had to figure a bunch of **** out on my own and that builds resentment. There's definitely a point where you're start feeling like **** that ***** so I understand 50 son feeling that way. 50 a coward for allowing their relationship to get this bad in the first place. Father your son you bum *** *****.

50 carrying grudges against his son like he's some cat on the street is wild. For what his momma did.

You can squash things with Floyd, but not your son?

but that would require him to be the bigger man, and we see that's not in 50.

Cats were in the barbershop today talking about which current rappers will still have their music played 20 years from now, and I thought that was a real interesting convo. Super hard to even project in this era tbh

Truth be told, thats an old approach to having a hiphop conversation.

WAY too many pockets of rap these days that the average casual fan just isnt up on.

Me personally, id hafta sit that one out. I already kno nothing i listen to would be mentioned. Lol

You know it’s only mainstream talk in the barbershop :lol …Probly discussing the ones that’s “on the scene” regardless of what pocket they in
