@ AK tryna explain why Uzi is wearing women's clothes. Always funny to me people try to find reasons why these dudes dress like that.

Joe used to clown Ian Connor on the podcast. Not in a joking way either. Now they friends
He can if he does it in a right way. All the yelling and emotions isn't gonna cut it.
I wish Joe could honestly go even more honest about the record industry and his dealings, because you can tell he's seem some real ish, especially with how poorly his career was handled when it first started.
It's dismissed because of lack of evidence. That's what happens when they take that much time to come out and say what they said.Joe definitely used to clown Ian but I think they got cool after kicking it in the strip clubs and hitting the same chicks (pre Cyn)....
Joe also has to know about what Ian is accused of. I haven't heard as much about it recently so I guess the case is probably dismissed but I wouldn't be surprised if dude is on his rapey tip. Props to him for getting back with ASAP tho.

What I see more of is people just being open minded and not giving a **** about what others wear. To me, it's more sus for people to worry about what he and Thug are wearing, doing or saying. Like why does it bother you that bad?Same way people defend Thug all up and down, then fall back to "well his music bumps so idc"
Everyone stans for their favorite artist, I'm surprised this many people are jumping out there for Uzi though
I read several of the accusations. None of them were what's typically thought of as rape in the sense that he strong armed the *****. It was **** like he'd be eating a girl out and then stick it in without permission, sneaking a condom off, etc.
It's up to you how you want to interpret rape/sexual assault. He's a ******* lame tho. One of the chicks exposed a DM he sent her after she made the allegation and son was talking all kinds of tough to a chick. Son is the bird of all birds.
Couldn't have been the "king" of my ******* youth. That's for damn sure.
Here's my problem with this rationale:

My main problem with that whole Uzi picture was that he looks bad. He truly looks like an addict. Although he may not be.
it most certainly is rape. I added that disclaimer in there because I know there are ****** out there that would argue that...so I just felt like leaving it up to the interpreter for how they want to judge that.Idk that's still kinda rape to me
But yeah the Malika accusation got dismissed for lack of evidence.
There was another one that Theophilus London kept referencing when they had there lil confrontation tho. He said it was a close friend of his, it happened recently and the police were looking into it and then nothing came from it.
I don't care what the next man is doing. You sure don't have to accept it. That's your right. ******* about it does nothing in my eyes except brings out peoples true colors.
Here's my problem with this rationale:
Some of us who have a basic understanding of how pop culture influences and have some semblance of moral fiber do CARE about everything pertaining to the culture. What I'm worried about more than what they're wearing...is this group think that believes that everyone should embrace and accept everything under the sun behind some false pretense that it doesn't matter. Everyone can wear they want, say what they want do what they want. Nobody is suggesting that their right to do those things should be taken away. It's funny...we can crack jokes alllllll day about how someone dresses but in today's climate...we can't point and laugh at a grown *** man dressed like Avril Lavigne because you ****** want to be fake progressive so bad.
**** outta here. That **** ain't rocking over here. I've observed the impact in REAL life. ****** out here in middle school asking their parents to buy them the latest "satchel" and choker cause their favorite rapper got em. Just cause you ****** wanna act like this **** is normal don't mean everybody got to.
I don't care about what the next man is doing either.
Like I said, I don't care what the next man is doing. You sure don't have to accept what they're doing. But ********* about it does nothing.
There's a difference in calling somebody and bad role model and constantly questioning a persons choice of clothes.

People like him believe there's just going to be a whopping amount of gay kids that are gonna pop up out of nowhere.

Feel what you feel but you focus so much energy on trying to delegitimize what a rapper wears when that energy ought to be placed elsewhere.
Serious question, a kid asks for a satchel, what detriment is that bringing on? Kid can't have a bag because....?
Please enlighten me on where my energy ought to be placed.

I don't know what "most" young kids are doing. I can only speak on what I see outside and what I see online...and in both places I'm seeing the infuence they're having. Most of the young kids that listen to Uzi or Thug don't dress like them *****.
Hell, all they aspire for is a bape hoodie, some bikers, and the latest Jordan's.
Please enlighten me on where my energy ought to be placed.
Depends on what you want to define as "detriment". You'd probably argue that there's no detriment in young black males out here walking around with their pants sagging and their ***** out too. Obviously with you asking that question...I can already tell that you and I would have difference definitions and interpretations on what's detrimental.
Thank GOD I had positive male influences around that wouldn't let certain **** rock. I see one of the kids I coach or a kid in my family with his pants saggin...I'm pulling him to the side and explaining why we ain't rocking like that...cause that's the type of people I had that raised me.

It would be EXTREMELY naive for one to acknowledge how rappers influenced fashion in one era but pretend like it's not happening in another. If Jay Z could have ****** all across world tossing out jerseys for button ups (this happened)...what makes you think they don't still have that influence today in an advanced technological world?
Semantics. I could have replaced Jay-Z with ANY rapper who had influence in any era and the point would ring true.
Re-vist this a year from now after the chips fall. If you have any common sense whatsoever...you can easily understand why they'd have a ***** like Meek Mill rocking the man purse all of a sudden. This summer...let me know when you start seeing ****** pulling lean bottles out of their fanny packs.
Please enlighten me on where my energy ought to be placed.

Never once did I suggest that rappers just started doing this. Am I supposed to feel differently about Lupe because he's a "conscious" rapper or something?Lupe was talking bout goyard bags in '07....these new tumblr hipster ***** late, and it ain't no "conspiracy" to me.
Goyard bag aside...Meek a slick *****.
I don't think lil Uzi is going to have the majority of black youth dressing like his pic he took a few days ago in a year. Nah man
