Jay-Z told the Wall Street Journal of Kaepernick.
“We like to think that the way we build the [NFL’s social-awareness program] Inspire Change platform, that if anything close to that would happen in the future, then Kaepernick would have a platform where he can express himself and maybe it doesn’t have to take place on the field.”

 never change, Jay
Certified cooooon.

Man's fully on the NFL side now. Talking that company talk.

The entire point was it was happening on the field.

I'm disgusted.

It's funny cuz the NCAA literally treats young black men like slaves by not paying them and suspending them, stripping their accomplishments away if they get a lil money on this side but _'s still tune in to watch the next great one-and-done and go crazy over March Madness. They JUST tried pass a blatant racist rule (that the NBA co-signed btw). It's just funny how people pick and choose what to "boycott" and be outraged about. Dudes ain't really tryna actively do anything. Just wanna jump on a trend make some noise just because.

I’m defending Deion Sanders, Jay-Z, Nas, and PAC, and Ken Griffey. Andre 3000, forever. Sorry, not sorry.

Well one i'm sure there was a nice check involved in this, two this dude is the head of a sports agency.... of course he's gonna use this as an opportunity to try & grown relationships with the owners of the NFL.

You think jay doesn't know that they needed him for this (and quite honestly it's backfired in terms of the NFL PR). People are acting as if Jay's involvement in this totally absolves the NFL of all their issues. Based on the backlash it clearly hasn't..... so again what is the issue?

Let's say the Jay doesn't take this deal..... what happens to the NFL, do they go out of business, do they suddenly lose relevancy? what would be the difference ?

If we gonna switch topics we can get into the slave farm system that is the trash *** NCAA.

Boycotts in this day and age need the eyes on it and national attention if you're gonna say dudes aren't actively trying to do anything (assuming you're not including local grassroots boycotts).

Other than that, not many actively have eyes on what rules or laws are being passed to immediately react to them.

Nah, it's the same topic. The treatment of black players in a sports league/institution.

Nike, Starbucks, H&M, Uber etc etc a whole bunch of things that were "cancelled" due to racial issues... the boycott lasted all of a week in most cases because ****** couldn't inconvenience themselves in the least bit for something they PAY for. But wanna call Jay an uncle tom for not turning down millions :lol:

this has been one of the most interesting topic's to come in a long time. Because it's exposing just how much people fake care these days. ****** in 5 fantasy football leagues right now talking about how dare Jay work with the NFL
