Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

I mean dude seems hypocritical AF considering his stances against Cosby when he allegedly was out here doing the same stuff.

You guys have to be cognizant of the documents that they’re presenting in that Star video.

For example, Jessica states that CTG claimed it was consensual, and at the 3 minute mark, they show the Grand Jury document that reads “Convened on August 29, 2001 the grand jurors of Berkeley county present upon their oath that Lenard L McKelvey did in Berkeley County on or about the eighth day of June 2001 willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously engaged in penile vaginal intercourse with the 15-year-old female”

A) That document is an affidavit, which is just the written allegation of what the court is trying to prove. Not a verdict of guilt.
B) That document was presented to a grand jury, not a jury of your peers. A grand jury’s duty is to simply determine whether there is enough evidence at the present time to proceed with the charges against a person. In this case, the evidence could have been medical records and the victim’s recount of what she remembered from the night.

I say all that to say this, be skeptical of what they’re presenting in this Star video, of what CTG has said in the past, and what has been proven in the court of law. There’s definitely some posturing on Star’s end because this stuff is being presented without explanation, and an audience who doesn’t have a good understanding of what these legal documents represent can easily be mislead.

Repped; on point.

In this day and age all there has to be is a bit of campfire smoke on the side of the accused for there to be damnation by the eager hands of the public.

Every thing you said is logically sound but it’s the shroud of uncertainty not the 100% facts that do be people in outchea nowadays. :smh:

If there was anybody that had ill will towards him before gon be on his *** now. They have an opening.

I was gonna say something similar, I’m assuming you’ve either worked in the legal field/court system or been out here fighting cases

Everything you said is 100% correct tho

Unfortunately none of this matters in 2018

All The Shade Room has to do is create a post titled

“CHARLAMAGNES RAPE VICTIM FINNALLY SPEAKS OUT ABOUT THE INCIDENT THAT WENT DOWN WHEN SHE WAS 15 AND HE WAS 22”

at that point all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the comments

Bunch of lipstick alley broads in here. Mans explained the story 100s of times and y'all still in here salivating on hearing it again. Go look up an old video. Some of y'all look don't mind feeding into ****ery just as long as it gives y'all something to talk about even though you may know it's fake.

Actually you're doing too much defending of him. Nobody said he was guilty. We just said we want to hear the story.

I don't give a **** if he explained the story. He explained his side. HIS side. Do you not understand that? How in the hell do you know know it's the truth?

Running up in here on some ya'll better stop talking about my man. **** that raccoon. We and I owe him absolutely nothing.

All I know is based on the sleezy, cringe worthy comments he makes to women up there sometimes, I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen back then. We're talking about a dude who brags about sniffing the chair that J-lo sat in after she got up.

She's been consistently telling the same story for years and isn't out for money so I don't see someone putting themselves out there publicly just to lie. The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle of both stories though.

There’s no middle tho.

I never knew the girl was 15. That’s foul. I hope it’s not true for everyone’s sake but 15 and 22 just doesn’t sound good.

Brasi season coming :nerd:

I was watching the NBA Youngboy, No Jumper vlog the other day. This dude had a toddler (assuming his son) on stage with him while he’s performing and weed smoke everywhere. Another part where he’s holding the baby up in the air with one hand. Wtf is wrong these dudes man?! They think it’s cool to have a baby exposed to those conditions, mad dumb... **** bothered me

In a town of a thousand people how do you not know shorties age?

He has questions to ask for that more than anything.

And the way he told the story to Ak, he made it seem like he was a good Samaritan. Why would your friends joke with you about raping a chick and the police being after you?

naaaah we aint know she was 15
plus he said the girl LIED on him
he told a very different story
than what the girl is sayin
Yup. I never did the math but I always thought he was like 18-19 when this happened and the chick was maybe 16-17.

And that’s on top of thinking she wasn’t touched;at the very least not by him.

Lol not that related, and I guess it COULD / does happen, but EYE have never in my life mistaked a 15 year old for an adult.
