Society's norms shape our morals. So I would BELIEVE that if, from the jump, those ages of consent were younger, it would influence how we view these things.
Not saying it is right or wrong but we can't ignore how law shapes our judgement/morals

The thing is some parts of society already operate that way.

I like for musicians to have some sort of Jazz pedigree, having a good grasp of The Blues. I have never been a fan of dudes that have that conflicted church background, something that RKelly has in abundance. They are always confused, always at odds with themselves socially. They have that Jesus thing floating in the background of their art form. There was a moment years ago where Kelly was saying that he was going to only sing non secular music. He then came out with the booty song. The artists who get past that way of thought, that conflict, tend to be a bit more creative, less conflicted with who they are. Once you understand and then play the Blues, you realize the whole spectrum of life through music. Once you can play Jazz, improvisation allows you the freedom to explore those feelings without guilt.
