You can't bring something together that's always been apart,by force,by law,by attitudes,by miseducation and a superior complex that based off of one group being better than the other group no matter what the situation might be.Years and years of this and you think things like this should bring people together?and then on top of that you have a certain population who holds on to "benefit of the doubt" as if that all there is no matter what is presented to them.Alot of that type of thinking is racially based and is deep rooted in America,it's not going anywhere because to change things means to do the opposite of what has already been done, through history. Most Americans don't want to make history through change and the old guard that actually control things don't want a single thing to change because they benefit from the system now the way it is.I don't understand how a case like this wouldn't bring more people together instead of separate us
Yeah. I can definitely see that. For a lot of people, their views will never change, but I guess I thought after something like this, other people would see the ridiculousness of racism and how stupid it is. Making an effort to show people that they don't think like that and that it only causes problems and stress to undeserving people and create hate and anger for the ones partaking in it. I mean, a family lost their son.
