QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

I've never been so frustrated. Now we are putting them in the same breath as the 2000 Ravens? What, 76 Steelers don't want any? I'm off to bed, I'd love to talk greatest defenses ever tomorrow. Here is a preview. The Phins 'killer B's' aren't anywhere on that top ten list.

:lol Ive never said the Killer Bs were an all time top 10 defense

I said they were a great defense, good enough to win with especially when paired with an elite quarterback

Pretty clear what friendly is up too.

Marino and Moon were actually the reasons their teams failed, but believes Russ is underrated and borderline elite.

He's also posting up in the Peyton is overrated thread.

He wants to be that guy on the 10% side taking on the 90% cuz it's the hip thing to do.

Just ignore him and he'll go away.

:{ at pacificnorsewst pacificnorsewst not knowing who the killer B's are.......ya know, cuz they were good before even I was born. :lol

I was more so talking to DSA... MF has been ignored.

Funny guy don't get me wrong. Could always use a good laugh from the village idiot. I like the new hits here and there but the classics are where it's at. "Marino was to blame" "His entire team was hall of famers" so on...

classics.

Its not 10 to 90 percent....Id say the a lot of people don't think Marino was the greatest quarterback of all time

I've already covered Marino's playoff fails( Super Bowl XIX, 86 AFC Championship game, the 3 Bills game, 1997 Patriots, 1998 Broncos, 1999 Jaguars)people are tired of hearing about it

But I get irritated with the revisionist history, some people actually saw Prime Marino and Dolphins and are not biased towards him

Moon? He had one big playoff choke....The 1993 Bills playoff game, they were up 38-3 in the 3rd quarter!

Granted the Bills made some plays but Moon and the Run and shoot stalled except for like 2 drives in the 2nd half and he threw 2 interceptions not including one that was called back

But besides that Moon wasn't near as bad as Marino was in the losses

I blame some of Moon's inability to finish games on the Run and Shoot

*multiple page discussion of an early 80s Dolphins defense*

Interested in seeing who SF brings in at OC and if they can help Kap make any strides...

Hard to imagine Kaep plateaus at where he was last season... He's a better football player than that imo

It appears we know who is a FA from the QB side, but who is looking to extend deals and getting towards the end of their contract? Ben is looking for a 'final deal' that will probably take him to the end of his career. He has two years left and an extension would give cap relief I'm sure (though with some of the vets on D being gone that may not be as big of an issue). Who else? Wilson will be extended this offseason, correct?

Sea better be smart about that. That's one thing for sure.

Don't feed into that NT and ESPN RW Hype.

If RW gets another ring, or even gets back to the SB he can definitely hold the figurative 'gun to the head' of Seattle

Yea that's true. This bout to be the biggest robbery since Albert Haynesworth. :lol

Hopefully not too interesting

Going from $800,000 to $20,000,000 will be a little interesting :lol

That's why when people say you could get 10 quarterbacks to do what Russell Wilson is doing, I'm like could you afford them and field a great team?

The value Russell Wilson currently gives the Seahawks is insane

All the stars are already locked up/will be locked up, fortunately.

Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor, Avril, Bennett, Wright, Lynch, Baldwin, Wagner this offseason etc.
