QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

Nothing on Cam huh?

I say it all the time, the most disrespected and underrated QB in the league.

:lol that was just power rankings stuff. This is what they had about Carolina:

Carolina (3-2) is the only team at or above .500 that has been outscored by opponents (minus-16) this year. A brutal stretch starts with a trip to Cincinnati.

I told a friend when I was watching the game that for all the **** they talk about Carolina, you'd think they were 0-5. Cam just still doesn't look 100% unfortunately :{

I doubt they'll be able to afford it but he could use another week of rest. But the bye isn't until late IIRC. Having Darrin ******* Reaves back there and the ghosts of Smash and Dash or Double Trouble or whatever their nickname was isn't helping him.

I didn't have anything where I was looking. I would have posted if I saw something.

I did see a little of their game, I saw the perfect throw to Benji in the end zone that got him turned around, and then the next play the strike to Olsen.

He's really good, I know that, lot of people do, I just don't watch as much Carolina as I do some others. If I find any good quotes on him, I'll drop em in here no prob.

651 - you think it was 3 to 4 years? I thought it was only that 1 or 2 year stretch where he was average. IIRC 06 he was good, 08-10 he was good and then struggled a bit 11-12.

Champ: we need another one, not gonna lie bc avant and jerrico ain't no spring chickens. I'm hoping Stephen Hill will step up. :lol

But on the real we bout to get our as kicked these next 5 games. Cam ain't the same, he can't get outta trouble or the pocket like his normal self. Benjamin looked like a rookie last week. But Cam is def a very accurate pocket passer now.

No. You're right. I was lazy with my recollection and definitely exaggerated. It was a two year stretch, I believe.

I remember the first year I did my quarterback write-ups was 4 seasons ago and I remember having Rivers in the elite or right on the fringe and that's when he tanked. I felt duped. :lol

But if I go by that then it was only two seasons of him falling off.

Watched Hill firsthand with all the Jets programming. He has a massive issue with drops and concentration. Also has problems with taking responsibility, blames everyone else without an ounce of accountability for his play on the field.

Next year is another stacked class. Go out and get a smaller WR to compliment KB's size and strength. Greene or Agholor.

I was trying to remember why everyone thought '11 was a down year even though he tossed for like 4,600+ with 27 and 20...then I looked it up and it came back to me how they lost six straight after the bye :lol that defense was so bad.

Ain't you guys on your 5th or 6th string RB, too? That sure as **** don't help anything.

They need o-line help, a slot wr, another outside guy, a 2nd TE, 2 new rbs Stewart & Williams are often hurt.
With multiple pressing needs, makes optimal sense to trade back for additional picks. Nab one of the R2 or R3 receivers I mentioned, plus Collins or Erving at OT, and Langford R3/R4 or a late-flier on Dyer.

I haven't seen any burst from Dyer since Auburn
Agolhor in Carolina would be a good look you can line him up anywhere
C CP1708 draft thread?

Don't worry that whole backfield will be out of Charlotte next year.

1. LT
2. WR
3. Safety
4. CB
5. 2 Outside LBers
6. TE
7. RB

Address them in that order

Well, I'm not really worried, but it certainly helps out Cam and I'm rooting for him, so yeah...

Probably didn't wanna play at home, to many distractions. He's playing for that next big check. I don't blame him.

It's gonna be far too much dead money on the books if we let go of DLo && JStew

Maybe, if unlikely, one this coming offseason, both is just not feasible, unfortunately.

**** Hurney....Gettleman's good in my book tho, minus the whole 89 ordeal.

James Jones in Carolina made too much sense. #1 WR to mentor KB. Contender as opposed to Oakland. Would have seen plenty of targets. Signed for only $3M-per. Bargain, even though I'm not personally a fan of Jones. Streater is better for the Raiders.

Doubt Peat or Scherff fall. Looking more likely at Drango or Collins.

Greene or Agholor make perfect sense to compliment KB.

Prewitt, Eskridge, or Richards.

Darby or Waynes.

Yea you right about the backs, if Stew don't finish this year healthy, he needs to go.

I just want a QB :{

These past 2 seasons have been dreadful :{
Not beating a dead horse, but letting Minny snipe for Teddy is unacceptable. Clowney and Bridgewater in the same draft is a home run for the ages, and launches you long-term in the playoffs for years to come.
