You legalize things because society deems nothing wrong with it and since it's a for pay act it can be a lucrative business. I don't know where you got "and glamorize it" but there aint nothing wrong with promoting your revenue in a capitalist economy

Why do you have to assume that prostitution would cancel out the traditional method of bedding women?
Does the existence of strip clubs mean dudes don't go to the club to get their grind on the old school way?
Both methods could coexist, so that pretty much cancels that part of your argument.
