Re: Bison hype...I don't know if Buffalo's kind of become a second home since I've been crossing the border and going there for about 20+ years now, but I don't mind that sliding Bison. Nice logo but will admit that it's beat. to. death. now.
If I weren't so adamant on sticking to my hometown teams, I'd probably pick up a swinging Buffalo joint.

In the last couple of months I’ve been trying to be more patient in buying what I couldn’t hit on retail and it’s worked in my favor. But the ones that are more tough to come across you will have to pay most asking prices.

Finding these unicorns in the wild (let alone all three at once) is something else. My persistence and no one else in the world wanting to bid on these got me the W. Continue with the patch hype, this type of distractions is amazing
Back when HCs idea of exclusives was basically team Cooperstown remakes (sometimes with their own twist)
New pickups
2018 HC exclusive 1971 padres away. USA made with imported materials poly. Tonal flag. No batterman. Green under
2018 had its big hitters. A correctly replicated 94 brewers cap. Over the years you’ve seen me share how new era and other cap producers started using dark navy, and most retros seemed to have a visible side flag and big batterman. Near perfection. Usa made with imported materials poly. Tonal flag. Correctly colored white/red/blue batterman.
Lastly. This one goes back to 2012-13. This is a padres 1991 era TBTC on field cap. MUSA poly. Black under. FUZZ for days
They weren’t marked as anything special but you have to have that keen eye and know what you’re buying. No other outlet was making usa imported caps in 2016 and beyond other than HC. Those first two match up perfectly. I knew what I was buying I guess lol.
And a nice triple play with a 4ucap order coming through
All are made in China. Score
The angels is poly, while the other two are wool plain Jane retro grey unders.
The angels is a red under side patched cap. Funny bit of history. The angels never wore this style in all navy, like they had with their CA design, and then the Disney design. This halo only ever existed as a red brim two tone. But I’ll take in this near alternate universe cap and consider it a solid custom.
Plain Jane for life. All six hit under the $36/hat threshold. How’s that for inflation.

I wanna say that mariners road may have too large of a S/aqua border. It doesn’t sit too right. But with prices getting crazy, I had to bite at $33/hat avg. I’ll compare it to a black nasty this weekend. We gotta expect perfection or we’re doomed. Especially with prices Inching closer to triple digits (with no true quality improvement at play)

These dudes were dead in the water. Their MUSA bread and butter mostly quick seller base was on the fence when derby closed. The shift to pink and blue unders was delayed a decent 6-8 months but it’s been HRs ever since. No hate from those guys. They adapted. Their original MUSA user base was quite particular and picky no doubt. Why not nearly double charge and never get asked about country of origin? Their derby association was their windfall and nearly downfall.

"Sangria" Collection is super meh.
Best one from the pack are definitely the Cards, Stomper, Rockies, and Tigers. Might pick up the Tigers or Cards for personals, but that's a big might.
