And yet the nfl ones were very close to plain Jane on fields.
It was nearly Impossible to find plain Jane customs for either nba or Mlb
The plain janes were awesome. But even Reebok went and did the same crap new era did when contracts changed

It was a straight collaboration with lids. I got about 5 or so of them on sale. Britten Maughan has kind of made it his priority to get lids back to where they once were once he took over as President of the company. He’s been on with the In The Vault guys recently with this BlC pack as well.

Got the Yankee ones I wanted and a couple other teams. Love the BLC flavor pins on each hat. Will take some pics tonight.

A straight legit collab is game changing. I like their shift and vision as of late. Tying in online inventory with lids across the nation was Also game changing. Then they did the crap where lids in ny had one release, and another in dc or Baltimore had their own release. They literally took it back to 93 with their pre internet era choices.

Good for them. Seeing those wool classics sellout quick gives me hope that we are ready for a real big wave.

Good stuff g-time I missed all of them. Had my eyes on a few.
Some are more accurate than others. The MB brewers uses the same dark navy that they’ve tried and have used in other cooperstown collection hats for a decade now. They’ve only ever used light navy. Theyve been wrong for 3-4 generations worth of retros. I appreciate the tonal side flag, if nothing else. But many are just borderline cooperstown collection made in China junk that we saw sitting from 2015-2018 on lids . The game changer was supposed to be the lids retro classic line but that was just as inaccurate overall. In todays times, If you’re buying a plain Jane; it better be 95-99% accurate. If not, drop $6 more bucks on a custom with crazy colors and a patch and you don’t have to worry.

Like I said, I’m glad they eventually sold and will be restocked.

Edit: I blame new era for having certain styles and color ways in the database or catalog as accurate. It’s not the fault of the end line retailer ultimately.

I should add, the expos never had a blue and white with blue bill onfield. That miscue is easily on par with the mistakes the lids retro classic crew had.

The top crown was red. Always was and always is.

The blue on blue is amateur hour, but could be considered a custom I presume.

I swear lids had the same mistake for their lids retro classic many years back. It’s funny they went the same route here. The vast majority are accurate so I tend to let it all slide now.

This collab is gonna be fire and it’s gonna have a sliding bisons too. Lids regular is also still gonna get some stuff too

When I say true collab, I mean perfectly duplicated pins and unders on their snapbacks and not just hinting at what the inspiration is. This may be the first true corporate crossover in this new 2020-2022 era.

99% of these companies are doing inspirations with hints of Simpson or Bayer Tylenol lol. Having true BLC sidepatched interlocking logos and such and pins and colors and a quantities still available on lids a week later is game changing.

Other places hint at it to get around copyright issues. Lids said f it and brought them into the mix

I've been wanting a New Jersey Nets fitted hat with this bygone era logo, especially since I have a throwback Jason Kidd authentic navy blue jersey. I came across this one on eBay. The seller wants $33 Buy-It-Now. But there's also an option to make an offer luckily.

I offered $15 since it's preowned, basically used. He made an immediate counteroffer of $20. I really don't think it's worth more than $15 predicated on its condition and usage.

Since this is clearly a hat from the 2000s, didn't fitted hats used to cost $30 regular price during that decade? That's why I offered $15. And he's offering free shipping for this one.

Is this hat really worth $20 with free shipping plus a 10.25% sales tax that eBay will charge me? How much more should I offer based on its condition? Should $17.50 be my maximum offer since he won't accept my initial $15 offer?

Is that for collection purposes? The shape is crushed.

Honestly I’m not deterred by bots. 2022 is the year of the restock everything gon be available soon. The problem with some online drops is that the stores put up leftover stock so when you only have less than 10 hats it’s gonna be a struggle. I’ve been lucky enough to hit on 88% of the stuff I’ve tried for online.

It is just a matter of time. Last may, the 94 tigers alternate came back out for what had been a decade or more of rustiness. It has since dropped on HC atleast twice and HH atleast twice. Everything extremely popular is being watched by all these websites. They want to reorder it all. 3-5 months until the next burst. Be patient and you should be okay.

Topperz is definitely dropping early am for the us. 6-10am at any given day.
