Post Your New Eras*59-Fiftys*etc... VOL. INFINITY NOW W/ Henz0/Thunderchunk/Icy's FAQ ON PG.1

djlunchbox djlunchbox you got a better deal on your set up lol I’ll contribute mine…

Organization on point. I love it.

Funny how some prefer the front drop boxes for hats but that never made sense to me unless you're only storing 1 hat. I'd find it annoying to have to pull out all the hats and look through them that way to pick one.

Ok I’m really feeling these. They giving me hulk/swamp thing vibes. That rangers is tough. Can’t wait to see the rest of the drop.

Appreciate it. For the amount that we have those drop boxes just don’t make sense and it would be more work trying to look for something to wear imo

Welp looked on the inside the coli patch is n iron on in the burgandy hat
I was gonna say, I haven't seen that patched version drop but they've had that Plain Jane cardinal color up for a while. I have it with the other iron-on patch, the Dodger Stadium 50th. I, too, hadn't realized it was iron-on when I ordered it online.

Less buying, more wearing is something I’m working on

This past week of wears
2000 era Indians on field. Still holding up strong

2018 era HC exclusive orioles alternate. Last of an era. Made in USA. Fuzzy polyester for days.

One of maybe 4 acceptable grey/lighter crown colored hats to own. (The others would be the grey alternates for the pirates, and royals. And the Yankees I think at a certain point had or wore a grey alternate).

Supposedly the grey orioles was so hated, it was only worn for 3 games and then later dropped all together. You’ll see a few real on fields in the wild but truly the only form to see them now is in custom form. HC brought the heat in 2017-2019.

Lastly, if I don’t break out a new pickup within a month, they tend to sit. I broke this out today. Bangladesh poly. Fit and comfort is decent. I may revisit some more on fields styles now that the price point is $10-$15 cheaper than the customs.

It has sort of a slick polyester texture. Not ideal but no apparent wrinkles or bunching or stitching issues. It’s stiff without actually being uncomfortable, which is the best you can say about todays poly caps. Many Chinese caps of old are atrocious on all levels

And a heads up. Macys has many caps 20% off including the above. $31 plus tax isn’t too bad these days.

I've been wanting a New Jersey Nets fitted hat with this bygone era logo, especially since I have a throwback Jason Kidd authentic navy blue jersey. I came across this one on eBay. The seller wants $33 Buy-It-Now. But there's also an option to make an offer luckily.

I offered $15 since it's preowned, basically used. He made an immediate counteroffer of $20. I really don't think it's worth more than $15 predicated on its condition and usage.

Since this is clearly a hat from the 2000s, didn't fitted hats used to cost $30 regular price during that decade? That's why I offered $15. And he's offering free shipping for this one.

Is this hat really worth $20 with free shipping plus a 10.25% sales tax that eBay will charge me? How much more should I offer based on its condition? Should $17.50 be my maximum offer since he won't accept my initial $15 offer?

Tried one of the Hat Club hats off eBay, love the colors but the fit is looser than the on field ones. I’ll be sticking to the on field ones for my weird head shap image.jpg

It’s likely usa made, which is a huge plus. But it may fit a bit more like a regular mid crown. Retail on onfields leading into 2000 was around $24.99-$26.99 I believe. Retail as late as 2015 was still just $34.99.

I’d say $20 shipped is pushing it for a used nba pin wheel, which may still be sitting at hatland. Lol. You’re spot on. $17.50 or bust.

Black bands are tough to go by as far as age. Look at the lettering on the tags. If there is any hint of brown or yellow on the stitching there, it may be more used than originally suggested. The under is also a good indication. It doesn’t seem too worn out. The only thing going his way is that rare factor since it’s 18 plus years old. I see many sellers trying to sell this sort of nba pin wheel junk in new fashion for $30-$50. It didn’t sell then and may not now.

All these sites are getting their own exclusives now

Snipesusa has a few, as well as wrigleyvillesports with some cubbie customs. The $55 price point may be throwing most people off.
