\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

That's an awesome garage! thanks for the input!

Also considering the hybrid civic as well! its got more torque and would be good on gas (feels like a more responsible choice lol)
I want the Si for the manual transmission as I've always wanted to own a MT car. Need to practice how to drive it though and hesitant that I will hate or be annoyed by it in traffic (my friend taught me a long long time ago). I do love the mechanical feel and the control you have over the car with MT though. GTI would be a nice option too! (I wanted to buy my friend's MK6 GTI to see I could commit to owning a MT, but he didn't want to sell it to me cause of engine reliability issues after a certain mileage has been reached).

200 hp will be more than what I have now lol and most of time driving will be to and from work. Weekends we take the family car lol.
Type S or FL5 would be a dream though for sure, but not sure if its worth the additional $10K and the dealer markup for myself since its only to and from work. Also, I'd feel awful driving them in the northern winter lol.

RSX type S JDM conversion would be awesome!

Hopefully will have time this weekend to check out a dealership and get a feel for the Si and hybrid

The good thing is, whether you go Si or Hybrid, they look almost exactly the same. Si will just have the black trunk spoiler and the front grille opening is slightly larger.

You do get more color options with the Hybrid though.

Went to a dealership this past weekend. Honda and Acura in one building

-Test drove the integra CVT
-Sales rep didn't take us seriously enough and he had an appointment in 10 mins, so he only took us around the big parking lot. Rep didn't do a good job selling the car to us, just tried to figure out how easy of a sale it was going to be (asked when we needed the car, what else we are thinking of, what would expect for a trade in value, etc). After the lap round the lot, he kinda just told us to go try Honda (seemed dismissive).
-It's nice, but need to drive it on the road to get a better feel.

-Test drove the civic hybrid sedan
-super nice, def feels like luxurious civic
-ride is quiet, smooth
-a lot more features with this car compared to an Si (given the similar price point)
-sales rep was a little more informative, probably cause I asked more questions, but still didn't really try to sell me the car by describing all the features, etc.
-I watched more reviews on youtube, it basically runs like an EV almost all the time. The gas engine is only to recharge the battery and gas engine only kicks in past 60 mph or so.

-No Si in stock at this location
-Wifey didn't like the idea of MT when I brought it up cause she would have to learn to drive it, and in case there is an emergency she needs to know how to drive it. I gave her this exact reasoning why I should learn to ride a motorcycle lol.... eye roll.

We aren't in a rush at the moment, so def will look at other car brands too.

Take the car out on the highway when test driving. Some cars aren't quiet and let in wind noise. Only way to find out is on the highway. Steered me away from Toyotas because my last one was noisy

"Its too heavy, its too slow"

i mean the trackhawk is one of the best drag racing whips in the world :lol
boats r fast in a straight line

Took some time this weekend to throw some Eibach Sportline springs on along with a set of Spoon wheels. The fitment is perfect. Zero rubbing and flush with the fenders.

The beauty of the FL5 vs the FK8 is the fenders are essentially pre-rolled from the factory making it easier to fit lower offsets with bigger rubber.

Preparing to fix my front door lock actuator in the LS. Only thing that didn't work when I bought the car but quite an annoying issue

US dealership quoted $1,110 for the part. Same part from Japan shipped to my door is $350

There’s also a way to macgyver the broken mechanism by opening it up and replacing the $20 electric motor inside

honda really hit it out of the park this gen with the civic, especially the hatch.

got my eye on a hybrid hatch, maybe next year.

If you end up getting it, opt for the optional factory wing. It helps square up the rear and give it the proper proportions.

They also have a new color for 25 thats like a desert sand shade of tan. Paired up with some bronze wheels it would look great.

I drive a 2014 Toyota Camry that was given to me. Definitely a life saver. Literally a life saver.

It's been on a few accidents so cosmetically it's not in the best shape, but it's running well as of now.

Will take pictures in the morning.
