The 5.7 is a truck engine for boat cars

The 6.4 is a go fast engine for boat cars (and hopefully soon trucks )

The thing is numbers wise it's not that much of a difference tbh

Put a pedal commander, intake, exhaust aluminum flywheel and 1 or 2 other mods and itll essentially be a 6.4 for much less money year over year

You're probably right. Is the difference in the 5.7 and the 6.4 really that big? Either will be more a fun/weekend car. I'll still daily drive the impala.
My boy had a 5.7 RT Charger & I have a 6.4 Scat Pack Shaker. The 5.7 is a great engine & platform to build on, that being said, it's not as fast stock for stock as the 392. I rode in his Charger & it was sluggish in comparison to my 6.4 We both have automatics & I'd gap him by 3 car lengths everytime we raced. Still, @ 375hp the 5.7 is a beast & faster than most cars around it. You could do some mods & make it faster like jewseejay said or you can buy the bigger faster 6.4 instead. All depends what suits your needs & budget. Ours are both 2016s so for that year, the RT Chargers didn't get the same front fascia as the 6.4 Chargers but I think now you can add the SRT appearance group package as well as the active valve exhaust on the 5.7 RT which is a great deal imo. Hope this helped

That back 3/4 view looks like a whole lotta 8 series

I love that tlx. Will consider jumping to Acura if something close makes it to the market.
