Got offered a 2003 Harley Davidson F150 for my Lightning last night. It's basically a Lightning with 2 more doors, and 2 more seats, has the same supercharged 5.4 engine as my Lightning. I'm considering it, the HD has all the bolt ons I'd like to do to my Lightning already done.

Don't do it! More doors doesn't equal better. That single cab with the step side probably lighter too

I would wash my car every 2 weeks if there wasn't a few issues. The apartment I live in doesn't have any outdoor water faucets were I can screw in a hose. Plus I live on the second floor, which means I have to carry multiple buckets of water up and down a flight of stairs.

Go to a Self-service car wash with your own products and buckets.
What I do in the Winter.

Your interior needs consistent TLC as well(hydrating,dusting, vacuuming, conditioning leather etc.). My joint smells like bubble gum and watermelon everytime you open the door . Wheels depending on how often I drive the car, 1-3x a week. Car once a week, If it's not in my garage and I leave it outside, it collects dust/pollen and **** so I still wash it even if I don't drive it.

Tempting. I always liked the Harley-Davidson edition trucks even though I don't care for Harleys. I would do it cause I prefer 4 doors on trucks. Bolt-ons are a bonus.

It only gets better. Their last block can easily run low 8's. This one is definitely sleeved, who knows what size head studs they'll be offering along with other internals.

Its a radar detector and laser jammer. A lot of high end cars that come through my shop have them.

Id go with the Harley, i've always liked them better because they arent stepside.  My bosses dad has one that is lowered on Belltech suspension and it looks really nice

I get the liking of trucks like that, just IMO trucks in general should be used differently. Some people can argue that my car should be strictly used off-road,gravel, etc. I'll never do that to my car.

It can behave ridiculous on the drag strip as well, though. It's whatever you want to build your car for.

But that's just my opinion. They don't look bad at all, though, on stock suspension. The Raptor is like the perfect balance.

I agree, the Raptor is awesome and when i checked last it was holding its value like crazy.

Those lowered Lightings and Harleys have a certain stereotypical owner in the south, around here at least, that isn't the best.

Any radar detector that is actually worth spending anything on will be either the Valentine One, or go with a Escort Passport 9500ci or Beltronics STiR.

Everything else will leak way too much, give too many false alarms, not give the correct alarms in time or not give it at all. So you're better off without one, because it will literally be a waste of money.

My homie got the Passport and joint was trash. Def a waste of money. Saved him a few times but waaaayy too many false alarms.


And yeah if youre speeding at night you better have a "lead car" charging the way. Other dude will get caught before you.



And as far as trucks go.

How much HP does dude have anyway? Would he dust Retro's M4 or WCIS's STi?

I doubt he had the ci. That and the Bel is like the Rolls of radar detectors. And not because of the price tag.
