One thing I've learned as a teacher is you can't tell a principal how to run their school.
There's always something ppl will frown at. Here in the south we still got corporal punishment lol (I'm originally from portland btw)

Yes that's messed up but i don't think its right ban everyone from hugging but what else can the principal do I am sure parents hear this and wild out at those PTA meetings about it.
