name it Pyro for Flareon, Rainer for Vaporeon, Sparky for Jolteon

Then just evolve it when I get enough candies? That's gonna take me ******* forever I've caught 3 since the game dropped.

Do you actually have to be near water for water pokemons to appear?

More chances of them poping out where there is water (shore, river, ponds in parcs, etc).

But they can pop anywhere. I got a horsea, squirtle, seel, bunch of shelders, ton of krabby and i'm nowhere near water.

Anyways, my local park has been good the past two days. Recently came back from LA and Santa Monica Pier and Downtown Disney was lit. Got my Aerodacty at Santa Monica Pier. Got Snorlax and Scyther at my pier. Went to the Ocean beach meet up and got a Blastoise. The CP of Blastoise was 236 but I'm more for collecting because I know when the next wave of Pokemon comes once they update it, it's only going to get harder.

he means 40 pokes not level 40. No one is that high yet. There's a guy who reached level 30 and he said the xp required to reach 31 is 500,000 :x
