ding ding ding. why would they do that? It just makes no sense at all in cost. Anyways if anyone works at Fedex please enlighten me cause it's not the first time I've seen it. I think this also applies to UPS too.

Somebody probably messed up since Troutdale isn't a major facility

 

[i just got lucky]

shipments will always go to a major hub (for transfer/distribution) before it goes to a smaller facility.

i live in cali, and everything that i send/receive via fedex is by way of memphis. just how it goes i guess

They all go through Memphis on the east coast
